  1. @sillykitty Here's the link. It says it's a closed group and only members see what is in it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/obesitycodenetwork/?fref=nf I just asked.
  2. So I wish I could answer that definitively? Cuz I STILL don't know! LOL. I think that if you're in a private group, then it will show on your feed, but only you and the members of your private group can see it? But it looks like everyone and their brother can see it. I have no proof though.
  3. It's possible to do doll! But you will likely still end up remodelling your figure with it. But there are many in Dr. Fung's facebook group who are doing autophagy fasting and maintaining their weight.
  4. Yes, folks. Alice is officially down the rabbit hole. (I'm presently drinking a cup of green tea + bergamot tea...) I give you: Autophatea...just sayin'. It's a thing. https://thechalkboardmag.com/6-ways-to-boost-autophagy-glow-15 https://siimland.com/macros-for-autophagy-on-different-diets-vegan-carnivore-keto-fmd/
  5. Holy crap and they still did surgery!?! I'd be in that surgeon's office every day until they told me specifically what I do to get better AFTER they operated on me with an existing collapsed lung! I'd want pulmonary therapy, drugs, whatevs to make sure I didn't get pneumonia!
  6. IKR? No way would they go into surgery with that would they?!! I'm betting it's just a typo.
  7. Dang! So sorry to hear this! Hope the figure it out and you heal quickly!!
  8. Wait. They found it pre-surgery?
  9. It isn't easy! Congrats on your amazing hard work and accomplishment! It's only the beginning of a bright future!!
  10. Woooohoooo!WTG!!!
  11. Yay!!!! Congrats!!! Tha crahps ah sayuved!!!!! You're rockin' it madame!
  12. By the way? That comment in the photo isn't for you. It was what I posted for myself when I knew I was gonna whine about the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. I still look at it to remind myself how good I have things!
  13. What is "3 Week Stall" for the win, Alex! Congrats on your losses so far!
  14. ^^^ Yep. What they said.
  15. Congrats on a successful surgery! Don't eat it! So I logged it all down in this thread! Take your mind off your head hunger and read through this journal to see when I started eating.
  16. Thanks for asking this question! (It's usually me asking things like this! )
  17. Congrats to you!!! Inspirational!
  18. I really agree. But interestingly, I had rib roast (uncorned beef) last night with cabbage and mashed cauliflower. And I was able to eat WAY more of that meal than this meal. On the same day. Weird huh? Like the beef went down easier than the power greens/mushies and egg/bacon.
  19. See this? Represents a “need to know status!” Bravo!!! Well done!
  20. Ok, so it's official. You have issues you need to work on. They live INSIDE your head, not in reality. You likely have body dysmorphia. You are a handsome guy! Seriously. I've never seen you before. And if I was young and single, I'd date ya at least once based solely on your looks. Now go. Run. Do. Work on your self-esteem and getting rid of that horribly unattractive chip on your shoulder! Thanks for sharing.
  21. I saw this on The Facebook, so it must be true. Right? I think this is an interesting chart--and I might try to apply it when they hit me. Do you have food cravings/head hunger that you just refuse to feed? I sometimes do. They were worse at the beginning of my journey than they are now. Now, they are mostly little whiny bi*ches that kinda wimper and go away when I ignore them--or feed them with a hard boiled egg or raw veggies without a dip--or a salad with plain evoo and unfiltered acv. But in the early days oh boy, were they doozies! And because I'm very hyperinsulinemic (long history of it), then if I eat a bunch of high glycemic carbs, I get hungrier quicker and my cravings for specific foods start cropping up with irritating regularity. Experience taught me that each time I feed a craving with the actual food I'm craving, that only reinforces the specific craving as well as the time of day the craving occurs. I do IF and that has taught me that hunger signals and cravings do not continue to build if you do not feed them. They have a cycle and die a quiet death in 20 minutes or less. Often now mine last no more than 5 minutes of so. Also, I always drink a pint of water before I feed anything and wait 20 minutes. If I'm still hungry, then I give my approved snacks (see above). How do you take care of your cravings without caving to them? Does this chart have any merit or veracity?
  22. Oh wow. I'm gonna start keeping a record of "super filling meals" for my Hungry Hungry Heifer days. This was breakfast this morning and these were the afters. I sauteed mushrooms and onions with power greens and garlic and had a leftover 1/2 piece of bacon with an egg fried over medium-runny yolk, hard whites. Hold me. So. So. So. Good! (objects in the mirror are larger than they may appear...this is a dessert plate and a dinner fork)
  23. Demanding pictures of you!
  24. I would potentially "think" so? But have no proof of that. Some say being in keto makes things go faster also, but again--no proof. I do know my ketometer (breath) shows when I'm getting benefits cuz it finally starts going up--while blood glucose is going down. When I'm eating poorly, or eating big meals, then it goes pretty low (.10-.15). Mine never gets over 1 though. And that's fine by me!
