I'm waiting at the hospital for my RNY. excited for a new life and nervous and scared if I can do it!
I know this next year will be tough, making good food choices, exercising, and getting in the best shape! Glad I have this support group!
Excited for this journey.

Congratulations!!! I know how you feel. My surgery is tomorrow morning and I feel flooded with so many emotions questioning everything. Glad to hear you feel good. Need to stir up some courage for the morning.

My pain levels were a little up there the day of surgery and after. Then as the days passed it went down. First day, on a scale of 1-10, I was a 9... after I left the hospital, it was a 7. A week later, it was a 4. Now I'm off pain meds. After week 2, I wasn't in much pain. As long as they give you something that works for you, the pain should be tolerable.

I'm only 5'4" so 108 is my cutoff for underweight. At 116 I am above that and all muscle!!!
