  8. So weird , I use to be hot all the time. now, I also get colder. I've had to reset the ac to a warmer temp because I was freezing in my house.
  9. Things are going very well. I am getting all my liquids in and vitamins. I'm also hitting the protein requirements via protein drinks. I use whey isolate from integrated supplements comes in vanilla and chocolate. I use fairlife fat free milk which adds another 13 grams of protein so that's a plus. I've been drinking a lot of crystal light. Looking forward to purée Foods. Tonight I had a piece of chicken kale sausage I chewed it really well and it went down fine. I think that if you just chew your food and stick to very little portion like 1-2 ounces it's fine you shouldn't have any issues when you get to the eating stage. I also have had applesauce no added sugar and that went down well. Let's see oh I bought these little packets of guacamole from dole they come in a 2 ounce portion cup that was great. With a V8 low sodium. I try to drink a V8 everyday for the potassium. I had low potassium for some reason so I have that and I add half a banana to my protein shakes.

Still having gas no solid BM yet. Although I don't like pain meds taking them twice a day to control BP calling my general dr tomorrow
  14. Had surgery on the 28th I was the last one that day so didn't get up into a room until 9pm. Still at the hospital battling high blood pressure and low potassium. First 2 days were extremely difficult. I am feeling much better like I just got over the surgery hump. I taking liquids fine today I start full liquids. Hoping I will be discharged to day however just woke up to half of my face swollen. Need to figure. Our what that's about. Wishing everyone here a speedy recovery.

  19. I'm also having surgery June 28th. Good luck! How's the pre op diet going?
  20. Drinking plenty of water even went and bought essentia water with super high PH. Drinking whey isolate protein shakes with fairlife fat free milk and Advant Edge carb Control RTD. Also made cauliflower and butternut squah soups. It's pretty painful today. My friend suggested putting a banana in a shake for more potassium

  26. Any ideas on meal plans to get through the 7 day liquid pre op diet. There are many different views on this. For instance I have seen some diets that allow patients to have lean protein. Getting sleeved on June 28.

  28. I just received my surgery date this past week. I also have been questioning myself if I'm doing the right thing. I think it's normal to have this feeling. I also have been working on this through the insurance for 6 months so to finally be close to the finish line is crazy. Wish you the best up luck.
