  • 3 weeks later...

I'm scheduled for June 7th. 2 protein shakes a day (breakfast and lunch) then 4 oz of chicken or fish and 1 cup steamed green vegetables for dinner. I can have jello, broth and sugar free popscicles as well. I have 1 week down and 1 week to go. I am averageing around 600 calories a day.

I hate chicken now and crave pizza and tacos - LOL!

hi everyone!

i'm scheduled 6/1. today is day 4 of the pre-op diet. i'm on a clear liquid diet til tomorrow night. the hunger headache (& lack of caffeine) is worse than the nervousness of the upcoming surgery.

i am just ready to do this!

I'm on the forth day off my pre op diet, and it's a trudge. Looking on here, my diet seems much stricter than most. I'm on 3 shakes, 4 cups lettuce with 2 table spoons of lite dressing, 1 lite yogurt, 2 jello cups, and 2 cups of broth.

Anyone else have a similar diet?

I'm sorry to say that the pizza and tacos are what got us here in the first place, lol

Mine starts next month. Full liquids only. Ugh.

Scheduled and approved for June 19th starting the pre-op diet today of 800 calories.

I have about 12 hours until I have to be at the hospital for my sleeve.

I'll see you all on the other side of the forum.
