  1. No carbs what so ever ? Or do you mean no refined carbs. I'm assuming your allowed vegetable. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  2. Yes. I personally haven't encountered such an extreme reaction. But understand people being worried or not agreeing. But I'm sure there are all kinds of people out in the world. I hope your advice will help the op as I hope it doesn't stop her doing it Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  3. I don't understand why you won't reach 160 with sleeve. Maybe he thinks you need the extra tool of malabsorption . I was 244 surgery day 6 month to get into 160s ... Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  4. He should have the ut most respect for you. Saying he won't even discuss it. How disrespectful can someone be. You know that's not normal right ? After the surgery when you lose all the weight your eyes become clearer and suddenly you realise your worth. Perhaps he doesn't want that to happen. As you won't tolerate that kind of disrespect when you value your self more . Goodluck. I doubt he will come onboard with the prospect of his wife looking better than him as it sounds like that might be it. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  5. And what happens if after all that. He still isn't onboard? What then? I honestly haven't seen someone being this extreme . Sure you may not like your partners choice but you still have to respect them as a human being and allow them to do what's best for them. You can't just withhold your support Everytime you don't agree. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  6. I measure ounces. If it seems like alot. You don't have to eat it all. As some foods I eat less than 4 ounces. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  7. 34 Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  8. I was cleared for regular food at 5 weeks. I hated the mushy phase Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  9. I take Omeprazole. Iron twice a day. Calcium twice a day. Multi vits. B 12 injection at 6 weeks. Then every 3 months. All on prescription Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  10. I buy off Amazon Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  11. When you swap to protein dense not liquid you may not even dream of 6 oz for a long time. Depending on alot of variables . Taller people, men etc may have more space. I'm 7 m out and still on small portions. 4/5oz less for some food. 2 ounces for some. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  12. Why would I tell strangers? I'm not hiding it. But I don't go round telling strangers about my life. Im not too hungry is enough. Now I am fine with a starter. Or a salad for main. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  13. I have Calamari when I go out. 7m post from the starter menue .. have a few pieces for my main. Yum ! Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  14. End of what? Im 7 months post sleeve Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  15. Isn't that the idea to get full sooner with healthy food?Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  16. Only? Is that a joke ? Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  17. No I didn't. Before liquid diet. I had a crustless chicken and mayo sandwich. Now 7 months post. I'm glad I didnt have a food funeral because I'm in Control. I can eat what I want but don't want what I shouldn't. But if I do I'll have it. I had the skin of a KFC drumstick not long ago. Lol sounds funny when I think about it. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  18. Have you ever lost 'only' 25lbs in two months before? Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  19. I wonder didn't other people not get pain. Im 7 m post and the pain from a whole sandwich would be unbearable. I wouldn't even try it. I agree eating too fast it must be. As that's like an extra trick for me is eating extra slow and the first hint of fullness I stop and don't go back to it. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  20. I'm in the UK. I didn't know there is a hospital here that doesn't give you a plan. There are so many variables though. UK plans seem super different to abroad Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  21. I think it takes more than one week to start losing... Really. You probably lost weight but still swollen too. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  22. Good luck. Let us all know if you get a response with a solution. For now I'll keep on with my shape wear and tuck bits away Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  23. There is no confusion. Yes drink it if your plan allows it. no if your plan doesn't. It's that simple. Everyone's plan isn't the same. I was allowed it day after surgery Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  24. Did your doctor not tell you how to eat ?.. pretty important question to ask. Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
  25. Sorry. I lost the person I was. And I'm glad about that lol. Obcourse your going to change alittle. I've lost almost 80lbs everyone changes towards you suddenly you go from invisible to super special and everyone wants to make you happy so yeah I've changed. I value myself more. My standards are higher.and I'm more confident. Yes I don't realise how small I'm getting till people tell me but it's not serious. I'm happy with my progress and it does take the mind awhile to catch up Sent from my Vivo 5R using Tapatalk
