  1. We talked for like a hour and then I had to do some kind of assessment. I continued to see a therapist even after my evaluation because I know I may have things I want to talk about after my surgery.
  2. *Fist Pumps* Wooohooo! That is great! Good luck with your surgery!
  3. I am on my diet for a month, so end of April I will see if I can get my date. My diet isn't so bad. It is lean meats and raw veggies and only 2 protein shakes for breakfast and lunch. I am allowed snacks like nuts, sugerfree jello and greek yogurt. It's not so bad, but I'm tired of chicken lol
  4. My diet I only get 2 protein shakes. The rest is lean meats, raw veggies, fish.grilled chicken, turkey and so on.

    LOL
  6. Everyone 's body is different and I think it also depends on how big you were when you started. I wouldn't want to lose a ton of weight fast anyway. I think you are on the right track
  7. I went out today and bought Muscle milk protein shake. It taste and smells good. You can get them in power or premade.
  8. You can do it! I'm on my diet for a month, once I lose then I will get my date, which I hope is next month!
  9. I'm going to try those as well.
  10. I'm going to try that kind.
  11. Regardless of which you choose to go with you will still lose weight, that part is up to you. I was stuck on the gastric bypass up until 2 weeks ago when I met with my Surgeon. He said it was the best option for me and it is the more popular one he performs nowadays. I would recommend you stick to your guns on this one and possibly get another surgeon.
  12. I have thought about that too and I don't have a date yet, but no negative thoughts!! You will do just fine! Good Luck!
  13. Hello! I am new here and stumbled on the site accidentally while doing a google search for something else. Anywho, I am glad I found a site where others can relate to what I am going through and about to be going through. I am doing my pre-op diet, which isn't just liquids and have been on it since April 1st. My surgeon has me on that for a month due to me having to lose 60 pounds and then I will go for my endoscopy sometime in May and then get my date. I'm sure we all here have had to lose weight before getting the surgery, what kind of exercise did you all do and what kind of Protein brands do you all like? I'm kind of having trouble finding flavors I like, and so far the ones I do drink make me cringe when it is going down. lol
