Congratulations on your approval. I have aetna also and have not had the same luck u have had. I have been fighting them since November last year. That is when they first denied me. Hopefully I will be approved soon. And again Congratulations!!!!!!

I have Aetna and I hope u have better luck then I did. I started my process of the surgery in August of 07, I did and have done everything I was suppose to do and I still havent got an approval yet. Every month they find something different that I am suppose to do. I am not trying to discourage u, I just hope it is different for u. I go back to the dr on Monday and hopefully this will finally be my last visit. I wish u all the best.

Well I talked to the insurance lady at my surgeons office yesterday and she said that maybe finally I may be closer to approval for surgery. I have to go to my pcp dr on Monday and hopefully this will finally be my last visit. It's been a long 8 months and I am so ready for my surgery. So wish me luck and hopefully I will be banded soon.......:thumbup::tt1::smile:

i do ...i have called them every day for a week now...and my dr also has a insurance lady that is awesome....she told me today that she would submit the paper work every day if she had to

we have submitted paper work from my drs a total of 3 times now and every time they say soemthing different.....i have done everything that they have told me i need to do...Dr Chris Dyas in Mobile is my surgeon

I was wondering if anyone had Aetna insurance? I started all of the formalities in August of last year and I still dont have an approval for surgery. It's always something different every time I call them.....They just want me to give up...but guess what...I'm not......

Hi everyone, I just wanted to stop and say hi...I do not have a date yet for my band placement but should be getting it soon.....I am from Mobile, Al so if there is anyone close by that has been banded give me a shout....but I am also willing and ready to talk to anyone......I have read a lot but still have several questions....
