Insurance.......grrrrrr

I was wondering if anyone had Aetna insurance? I started all of the formalities in August of last year and I still dont have an approval for surgery. It's always something different every time I call them.....They just want me to give up...but guess what...I'm not......

i do ...i have called them every day for a week now...and my dr also has a insurance lady that is awesome....she told me today that she would submit the paper work every day if she had to

I have Aetna. I am just now finishing the 3 month diet and exercise program. I've completed all of the pre-op testing. I believe my surgeon is going to file paperwork in early May after my final doctor visit. I have 4 of the comorbidities and a BMI of 41. I am curious of how responsive they will be. I hate seeing stories like yours. -- Tom from Ohio
