I know, I told my husband if he would do what I say I won't nag him!

No, I didn't have any pain afterwards. gg, you are right about my husband! He actually did do some things around the house this morning. Why do we have to get mad at them before they do something!!
  3. I know what you mean about the bathtub, I feel the same way.

I was wondering how long everyone had to wait to do house work, especially vaccuming and laundry. I had my surgery on 5/22 and I wasn't supposed to do either one for 4 weeks. But I ended up having to do it today because my husband is a jerk and refuses to do it. I can't look and nasty floors for 2 more weeks, not to mention, I had nothing to wear. Now I'm afraid I might have hurt something. How long did everyone else wait?
  5. Hi, your wife is very lucky, you sound like a great husband! I wish my husband was as supportive as you. Your wife will definitely need some help around the house. I had my surgery on May 22, and I am not supposed to vaccum or do laundry for 4 weeks. But I ended up having to do it today (only 2 weeks post op) because my husband refuses to do it and I can't look at nasty floors for 2 more weeks. Just keep in mind that she may be grumpy the first few days. The first week was pretty rough for me. Good luck, and I'm sure she will be fine.
  6. I want to be able to wear a sexy pair of low rider jeans! And I also want to wear that 2 piece everyone is talking about! I also am looking forward to holiday get togethers where I am not the fattest person there. I want to be able to join the YMCA and take all those aerobics classes that only the skinny girls do. I want to have pictures taken of me and not run from the camera like I do now. I want to be able to go to theme parks and ride EVERYTHING. I want hot construction workers to check me out!!
  7. It seems like going bald has suddenly become normal, at least with a lot of girls I know. All of my female coworkers say that they shave all of theirs. (Yea, we talk about weird stuff!!) I have even heard of GUYS shaving all of theirs as well!
  8. I don't think you will have a problem with the dates. I have Cigna as well. They weren't that picky with mine. But the doctor said Cigna expects a 10% weight loss with the 6 months plan. But all pans may not be the same.
  9. I took a week off, and I'm really glad I did. I have heard of people going back sooner, but there's no way I could have. I had a rough couple of days. But it was still worth it.
  10. I think what you might have read was to avoid fibrous foods. But that doesn't necessarily mean things with fiber. What it means is foods that are very dense, like celery or brocolli stems. Things that are hard to chew well. At least that is how it was explained to me. I take the chewable fibercon from time to time.

Me too. I have back boobs!! EWWWWWWW

I agree, tampons or maxipads would scare them off for sure!!
  13. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way! I can see trimming, but going bald is too far for me!

I have natural curly hair too. But I have to keep mine long. It doesn't look good short. I look like orphan Annie!
  15. I don't shave it all either. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like that prepuberty look!
  16. I had no idea what that meant either!

    Maybe they will learn something!
  18. Lilmiss, I did the same thing. I binged really bad before surgery. Now I wish I hadn't because it only added to how much I have to lose now.

I don't have a problem with it. I think women post in the men's room as well.
  20. I have IBS as well and I was very worried that the band would make it worse. But it has actually made it better. I was just banded on May 22. I don't have a fill yet, and that might change things then. But for now, I have been fine. The first week of clear liquids I did have water stools, but that is normal. I haven't been banded long, but I am SO glad I did it.

I don't know what the pain is caused from. But mine used to hurt a lot more, and I was even fatter then. So I am not sure. I really hate it too, especially when you want to wear a bathing suit. Mine really shows then. But I have long hair, so sometimes I can cover it that way. I think they might be hereditary. My Mom actually has them on her ankles. I just want mine gone!!
  22. I am only allowed to walk too for the first 4 weeks. And not even a fast paced walk.
  23. Carrie_C replied to a post in a topic in The Gals' Room
Yes, I have one of those!! I thought I was the only one! I have had mine since I have been fat. I asked the doctor about it once and she said it is called a lipoma, basically just like you said, a fat pocket. Mine hurts too from time to time. I am hoping it goes away once I lose weight. If it doesn't I am going to have it surgically removed once I reach my goal.
  24. I usually have the opposite problem, major diarrhea.
