I am a christian also and I also support the right to choose. It is not anyone else's business and no one has the right to judge anyone, no matter what our beliefs are. Jesus teaches that as well.

Yea, don't let them get to you. They haven't had to deal with anything like that before so they have no idea what it is like. I'd like to see how one of them would feel about the issue if it happened to THEIR daughter.

I am so sorry that you had to go through all of that. I can't even imagine having to deal with rape and pregnancy at that age, and then having to deal with those nasty protesters. I couldn't even imagine it now at my age and I'm 30. Your story puts a personal face on abortion and how important it is that we have this right.

My doctors all have said the same thing, that it's not from surgery, but I disagree as well. I never had a problem before.

Now that Obama is in I guess there is no chance of abortion becoming illegal now. YAY! And I'm also glad those issues that were up for vote in South Dakota and Colorado failed as well.

I am 30 and was banded in May. I would have done it sooner if I could. I had the option of doing it back a few years ago, but didn't do it.

Congrats on the 100 pounds!! I am losing slow, but if I could get right with my fills, I know I would lose more. I have had 3 fills, but the last one was too tight so I had to have some let out. I go Wednesday for another fill, so hopefully things will be moving again.

You will probably have to have an EKG. That should be it. I had to have blood work, upper GI, and an EKG.

Why did they ask high school students?? High school students don't know a thing about the real world. Give me a break. As far as informed consent, I do agree that we need to know the facts about fetal development and human biology. But there also comes a thing called personal responsibilty. Meaning that we have a responsibility ourselves to know this stuff and do our own research. It is not all the responsibility of health care workers to supply this information. I can not imagine going in for surgery, let along an abortion, without finding out all the facts for myself.

That doctor sounds really mean! I wouldn't like being talked to like that. My doctor told me that they don't really expect you to lose a whole lot until after a few fills. I think his behavior was uncalled for.

There are a lot more important issues in this country other than abortion. We are at war, our economy is terrible, so many people are losing their homes, millions don't have health insurance. I think Obama could make a change, especially when it comes to women's health. I don't really agree with late term abortions, but what is the alternative? Vote for Mccain, just because he is prolife? No thanks.
