  1. pattygreen, I do agree with your last post. No one can be good enough to get to heaven. I have this debate with my husband all the time. He thinks you need to go to church and live a certain way to get to heaven. I disagree. Anyway, off my soapbox and back to the topic.
  2. My doctor said no shakes either because most are loaded with sugar and are not good for you. He said we need to be eating our protein, not drinking it. But that's fine with me anyway because I have yet to find one that tastes good. All the ones I have tried are really nasty.
  3. I even get hit on at red lights now.
  4. I know this sounds weird, but it seems when I workout really hard everyday, I don't lose. So I only keep it to about 30 minutes each day, 4 or 5 times a week.
  5. Who wants to just talk about the band all the time??? That would be very boring. And grandmasandy, if you don't like this topic then I suggest that you not visit the powder room!!!!!!
  6. Yes, I liked him as well. I also liked the guy that worked on the oil rig or whatever. He was sexy!
  7. I didn't like that girl at all. She thought she was all that and she wasn't. She had a nice body, but her face was not pretty and she couldn't sing. I don't think she will be around long. Once she's out of that bikini and into regular clothes, Simon will see what an idiot she is and she won't get far. She gave women everywhere a bad name.
  8. pattygreen, I am a christian as well, and I understand what you are trying to say, but you are going about it all wrong. Jesus showed love to everyone and that is the way we are supposed to live as well. There is a better way to get your point across without sounding high and mighty and judgemental. As a christian, you are supposed to be trying to show christ's love and get others to know christ. But by the way you are talking, you are just pushing people away.
  9. Yea, I'm watching idol as well, but I'm not as excited this year as I usually am.
  10. I can see both sides here, although I have to agree with Jachut. But if he thinks it will help with the snacking, I think he will be proved wrong. Because as I have found, and many of you have found as well, junk food goes down really well. His BMI is not that high now, but who's to say it won't get higher without the band? Maybe he is doing it in order to prevent getting bigger and getting health problems. I can't say I blame him. If I could have gotten it sooner in order to keep me from getting to 255 pounds I would have.
  11. Ok, I know I'm a little behind on my reading, BUT WHO DID THIS???!!!!!!!!!!! I also stopped reading pattygreen's posts on this topic about 8 pages ago because all I see when I read them is BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN??!!! HA HA! Well, I wanted to get something started and liven up this place, so it looks like I succeeded!!!!
  13. Well, I think it is good to lose slow. I have lost slow even with the band. I try to look at how much I've lost instead of how much more I have to go.
  14. I can give other people shots and draw blood all day at work, but it's a different story when I'm the patient. I can't stand it.
  15. You look great! How much have you lost?
  16. I know what you mean. We have a Fashion Bug Plus here that I love, but I am already in the smallest size they carry, 14/16, and I can't wait to get out of that! Then I can start shopping at Rue 21 next door!!
  17. Yea, I would feel like it was cheating too.
  18. MIne stopped working months ago.
  19. Mine haven't gone away at all either. :tongue2:
  20. MIne have always been saggy, and they are even worse now. Maybe yours won't sag since they aren't now.
  21. If I was trained to do it, I probably would. But only if I really knew what I was doing.
