  1. LOL!!! That's what I was thinking!

Thanks! I also don't want any children and I don't think I ever will. My husband has said that he would get a vasectomy, but I hate to do something so permanent and then change my mind in a few years. (I don't think I will, I have never had a desire to have any kids, but you never know). If I did decide to have any, it would still be a few years because I want to finish my nursing degree first. The high dose pills make me sick and I have been on the low dose ones for awhile, but I have been having a lot of bleeding. So my doctor suggested it today. I tried the nuva ring before, but I didn't like it. I could feel it and I was always scared it would come out somehow. Did you have any problems with your periods after having it? A girl I work with had it before and she said she had a lot of heavy bleeding. But I'm not sure how long she used it. Did your insurance cover Mirena? That's another thing I would have to find out before I decide.

I have been having trouble with my birth control pills lately and my doctor gave me some information on the Mirena IUD. I was reading the information and I noticed that it said that it is for women who have already had a child. I haven't had any children so I am a little confused as to why my doctor would suggest it if it is only for women who have already had a baby. Does anyone use this who hasn't had any children? Also, does it cause a lot of bleeding and cramping?
  4. Well, I think I am having the noise because I am too tight. I am going to have some removed today and see if it helps.
  5. I don't know how student loans work in her state, but here you have to be in school. My loans actually go directly to the school, not to me. The school takes out their part and then gives me a refund check for the difference. If you drop out half way through the semester, you have to pay some of the money back to the school and you can't get any more loans unless you had a really good reason for dropping out. But that is for government loans, I'm not sure what type she has. But from what I hear she hasn't been in school for a while, so I agree that they need to investigate.
  6. You're supposed to start paying back student loans 6 months after you graduate or 6 months after you stop going to school. But you can get deferments if you are having a hard time paying them. I would guess that is what she is getting.
  7. We had a talk last night. I told him I don't have a problem with him looking at pictures, but I dont want them dowloaded on our computer and I don't want to see them. He says that it won't happen again. I told him that if I see anything else downloaded on this computer, I will be gone. I won't stay with someone I can't trust. I know that men are men and they are going to look. It is human nature. But downloading the stuff is going too far.
  8. I just read that her Dad bought the house she is moving into.
  9. I still don't think they need to be released to her...
  10. I have this problem too! It is terrible! I notice it more right after I have a fill. I am really embarrassed to eat around anyone.
  11. She said today that she has hired 12 nannies. I would like to know how she is paying for them.
  12. I am the same way, my stomach swells a few days or weeks after a fill. My doctors are very understanding too.
  13. No, it is downloaded. He admitted that he downloaded it. It was in a permanet folder. He just had it labeled temporary, I guess so I wouldn't be suspecious. So when I went to upload pictures onto ebay, that file popped up instead of the usual one with the ebay pictures.
  14. I think I would wait until I had the baby....
  15. I am going to have a serious talk with him tonight. I am not going to be the type of wife who has to watch her husband 24/7 just to know that he's not doing anything. If I can't trust him, it will be over. I refuse to put a leash on him.
  16. Yea, I think everyone except pattygreen!
  17. I have asked him why he needs it. Our sex life is pretty good, especially since I have lost some weight. He says that he doesn't know why he looks at it. He says that he is happy with our marriage. I told him last night that this type of stuff is what ruins marriages. He seemed to think it was no big deal since it was just pictures. But it is a big deal to me! smsmithart, I do agree with you, I wouldn't mind it if it was put away and I didn't know about it. I mean, we all do things in private that we don't want others to know about. I don't see this any different. But I don't want it on our computer either. An occasional look at a dirty website or something is fine, but downloading it is going to far. It makes me wonder what else he is doing and I just wonder what else is on this computer that I don't know about.
  18. Earlier today I was loading some pictures up on ebay and all of a sudden this temporary folder pops up and I notice that there are files in it with girl's names. I open them up and they are all dirty pictures. My husband and I had a problem with this a few years ago (we have been together for almost 5 years). I know some women don't have a problem with their husbands/boyfriends looking at this stuff, but I do have a problem with it. And my husband knows it. He said he wouldn't do it anymore and I believed him. I never did check up on him, because I trusted him. But now I am pretty sure that this has been going on for years. I confronted him with it and he says that he is sorry and it won't happen again. I know that he won't stop. What bothers me most is that he is downloading this stuff to our computer. I wasn't even looking for it, it just popped up. Should I be this mad and hurt? Has anyone else had a problem with this? I would also like to hear from some of the guys.
  19. Wow, there are a lot of nurses! I am a medical assistant, but I hope to join all of you in the nursing profession in 2 years when I finish my degree!
  20. Well, I am pretty sure she doesn't have a band. She couldn't have weighed enough to qualify. Plus she still eats really fast and drinks with her meals. And she hasn't missed work in a really long time. Plus, I know how she is and if she had one, she would be telling everyone. She would love the attention. She lost hers taking Phentermine. She takes it like candy. Anyway, I agree that we should all be able to tell everyone about our band without getting judged. But this isn't a perfect world. I didn't tell people at work because they are very two faced and talk about anything anyone ever does. Plus, I don't need the food police. There is one coworker who is really having a hard time with her weight, and I would love to tell her about the band. But I am afraid she will tell everyone else. And I'm not even sure she would qualify. So I just continue to keep my mouth shut.
  21. This has happened to me several times too. It is very annoying.
  22. It is on my screen too. I have already given feedback but it still won't go away. It is a little annoying.
  23. It is possibe to not lose weight if you are too tight. If solid protein is giving you trouble, you are probably eating softer foods, which means you are not staying full long and you may even be getting to many calories with the softer food. My doctor calls it 'soft food syndrome'.
  24. I am glad to see this thread because I was wondering what to say too. No one I work with knows I have a band, and this girl at work ask me the other day what I was doing to lose so much weight. I was really taken aback because I wasn't expecting her to ask that. I just told her I had been exercising (not a lie). But another coworker has also lost some weight (she doesn't have a band) and when someone asked her what she did to lose it she said "Pushed back from the table"!! I like that response!
  25. I don't think there is a doctor who would do it. They shouldn't anyway. I agree with the above poster.
