  1. I can’t answer that. It hasn’t happened yet.
  2. I was allowed fruit without seeds. Of course it had to be pulverized in the vita mix.
  3. Yeah I think 165 was also normal for me. You must be 5-8.
  4. I’m so close to dropping into obese class 2 at 264. After that on to the next goal which would be obese class 1 and onwards. I kept my 3 & 4X shirts & worked out in them until last week when I went into XL & skipped 2X altogether. I’m frequently at the gym & now running 6mph on the treadmill. There’s still a long way to go but I feel pretty good so far. I track EVERYTHING on MyFitnessPal & it’s such a tremendous help. I also have an Instagram page with examples of plates I eat that’s a work in progress. You can check it out at, “ my_tiny_healthy_plate “. Hope all are doing well in this lifelong journey to happiness health!
  5. Your doing a fine job! Keep up the good work!
  6. Most people have this surgery & haven’t got a clue as to what they can eat. Nothing could be more simple! Lean protein & produce. Anything else is processed in some form.
  7. Congrats! Me to! I went from 4X & 3X shirts right to XL. Skipped right past 2X altogether! What a great feeling to get out of my tents/nightgowns & skip a size!
  8. I’ve been doing a higher carb breakfast & protein after throughout the day. Try a banana & some good Greek Yogurt for breakfast. Also if you don’t have MyFitnessPal give it a try. You can but in your daily goals for calories carbs protein & fat. I track EVERYTHING on it including exercise & vitamins. Hope that helps. It’s worked for me getting in the right amount of protein carbs & fat is a huge energy regulator.
  9. Yes a work in progress. You also.
  10. Yes! At the Y is where I was saying I was going to do TRX & not advanced. The fitness trainers said NO you need to start in Body Conditioning. Advice I’m very happy that I took because that kicks my ass & I’m still not ready for TRX after about 3 months.
  11. That’s a fact! No exaggeration whatsoever.
  12. It’ll pass soon. I started slow and I can chug almost 16 ounce bottle now!
  13. I share the same struggle with a class I take & my 6 month is coming soon to. Congrats & keep it up!
  14. Yeah I actually take a body conditioning class with just me & 20 plus women. Not anything to complain about except I’m so out of sync & they could all kick my a#*! I’m getting the hang of it the more I go though. I actually have it in 45 minutes. On with the grind!
  15. Haven’t been on here for a while. Been at the gym pretty regularly. Slow & steady wins the race!
  16. What sucks is Steak Makes me crave a baked potato but I’ll live!
  17. Bring the Lea & Perrins Steak Sauce!
  18. Grilled Tomatoes, Red Onions, Asparagus, & Chuck-Eye Steak! As posted on my Instagram page called, “my_tiny_healthy_plate”.
  19. Had it tonight & it’s the stuff that dreams are made of!
  20. Had it tonight & it was delicious! My kids won’t eat veggies & they loved it. They thought they were eating pasta. ?
  21. I’m doing the same but I only do weights a couple of times a week & cardio nearly everyday. 15 minutes on the treadmill & 30 on the elliptical. I’m not sure where some people get information from but ideally you want to eat healthy carbs in the form of fresh fruits ect pre-workout & protein after for recovery. You’ll find you have more energy during workouts if you eat carbs before & your muscles will absorb protein & recovery will come faster after. I’m only lifting light weighs with more reps to build muscle. This will help maintain & build lean muscle. I use MyFitnessPal to track everything (food & exercise). I have not increased my calories at this point. I average between 1000-1200 calories per day & on weight days I burn almost 1000 calories & 600-700 from cardio. I’m able to get in my protein without any problems & eat mainly only lean meats with fruits and veggies. I do drink protein water immediately after my workouts. 70 calories 15 grams of protein. Other than protein I drink nothing else but water. I get the protein water at Costco & I rarely drink shakes anymore.
