Lets Look at them side by side:

SF Jello cup: 10 calories 0g fat 0g carbs
    Cup o noodles: 314 calories 14g fat 42g carbs

So even if you could have the noodles, you can clearly see why they would be on the no list.

Water intact is huge too. Make sure your drinking your water. Remember your body is still trying to figure what is going on. As hard as it is try not to look at the scale. Measuring is also good. I do both. Your could be loosing inches. If you are exercising then you may gain muscle. However, your weight lose is still really good.

According to your stats you have lost a little over 10% of your entire body mass in 3 weeks. That is pretty darn good. Keep it up!

I know you're only a few weeks out but 400 calories seems pretty low, especially if you're exercising. It takes some fine tuning, and what works for one may not work for another, but IMO I'd try to bump your calories up some and try to keep it as close as possible each day. Maybe you shoot for 600 a day and do that for a week. If you don't see a change you may want to go up a bit more.

It can be annoying but it's part of figuring out what works best for you.

It's common to see some slow down not long after surgery. 11 lbs still isn't bad for a 3 week span. I only lost 1 lb in a 2 1/2 week spell. When I upped my calories a bit that helped get the scale moving again. Do you do a food journal? Where are you at with carbs & calories for the day?

I am almost one week post op. I feel really good. I'm allowed to eat things like Jello, yogurt ect. Can I eat couple noodles? They are super soft and their consistency is almost like jello. Ideas ?

You need more Water. Double or more what you are now getting.

As for the antibiotics, what kind are they? Some types can be pretty harsh.

Did the doc know you were sleeved? I think if they did and wrote it, they would know. You can always ask your surgeon as well.

Hey! My name is Jennifer and I started my journey over a year ago. I was supposed to have the surgery in June but I didn't get to have it done then. I changed programs to Foothills Weight Loss Center with Dr. Colquitt in Knoxville, TN and I'm so glad I did. I had my surgery March 8 and I just had my one week post-op visit. I lost six pounds in six days. My surgery went seamlessly, so I'm blessed. I'm excited for the rest of this journey to unfold.

I am 30 years old and a public school teacher.

I went through a divorce in November of 2015 and that made up my mind to have this done. I have been ready for the hard work and to help build my confidence. It'll be nice to meet new people going through the same thing I am.

Reason I said that is because I didn't pay enough attention once or twice and ate too fast and pretty much wanted to die afterwards...lol. It can be really difficult to pace yourself with only a 1/2 cup of food when I was used to downing an entire plate of food in 5 minutes.
With time you'll start to read your body better and will be able to tell when that full feeling is beginning to creep up and slow down or stop entirely. It's just extra hard in the early stages when healing since all the wiring between your stomach & brain is screwed up.

Thank you guys so much. Yes, I take my time and eat very slowly. I'm glad there isn't something wrong with me.

One thing I'd caution you about is to not get overconfident in eating the same items. Like the others said we're all react differently, but in the early stages one day I could eat an egg and be perfectly fine, the next day I'd eat 3/4 of one and feel stuffed and miserable. Regardless of what you're eating just be sure to take your time and chew the hell out of everything.

Great question! Every body is different, and the most important thing is that you eat VERY SLOWLY. Our stomachs nerves are still healing so you may not get that "full" feeling right away. Look for signs of fullness like burping, hiccups, chest tightness, heartburn, even sneezing or coughing. These can all be indicators of fullness. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to eat that scrambled egg. As long as you are taking your time and not getting sick I don't see a problem.

Initially I was able to eat that amount and I worried my sleeve was 'too big' or something. 8mth on I find that that is just pretty much the amount my stomach holds. I think I was lucky to heal fast and be very well from early on, but am super relieved that as time has gone by I can't actually eat too much more then what I was able to eat from a few weeks out.

It totally just depends on your insurance. I had to do four months of medically supervised diet, a psych evaluation and nutrition classes.

Though it is plant derived and not artificial, Stevia is the only sweetener I use. It's the only non-sugar sweetener I can tolerate and I feel more comfortable with consuming a sugar substitute that is not 'fake'. It is SUPER sweet though, a little makes a big impact!

It's early days, so I would suggest leaving it and just work on getting your body back to normal. If people offer to help, ask them if they don't mind hoovering or doing a little cleaning for you.
I am sure people online will answer saying the were hoovering after 2 days, cleaning guttering after 5 and so on so just go by what your team tell you and how you feel yourself. Congratulations on the surgery !!
    Kate
    I am sure the house isn't a mess !!
