    When:
Your boobs are bigger than your belly
You take up sewing just so you can cut 3 inches of fabric off each side of your favorite shirts and resew them and wear them
You don't have to shop in plus size anymore
You can comfortably wear a pair of sexy high heels

I just moved from TX to LA, and we're still in temporary housing. When I packed, I threw all my dress clothes in Rubbermaids and brought them with me to temporary housing. Some mornings, I grab 3 pairs of pants before I find ones that will stay up. Yesterday, I finally started going through the Rubbermaids and tossing out anything over a size 14 or an xl shirt. This means I'm now down to what clothing I've purchased since moving to Louisiana! All that space those Rubbermaids took up in the car was wasted! Doh. Ah well. Live and learn. Now to find the local salvation army to donate all those clothes to!

I appreciate your candidness . I too was always i the gym trying g to lose weight only to gain . I was so upset and my husband you to say as long as you are throwing something I'm fine w it ! Obviously he didn't want an obese wife but he saw my struggle and just didn't want me to give up . I had no other health issues either I think only because of the exercise . I m three weeks post op Thursday ! Felt the dizziness too and trying to increase my calories a bit . I'm back at the gym but don't feel I have enough calories yet to add weights. Hopefully next week ! I'm only down about 16 but I'm starting to feel good !

It will slow down naturally. My first 3-4 weeks were big numbers. Then I averaged 2 lbs a week which is totally normal rate. And it doesn't draw unwanted attention if you're keeping your procedure private.

Initial loss can be all over the board due to a number of factors, but is usually the fastest that you will experience during this process, and will taper off over time. Initial loss is heavily biased toward Water weight, but after about three weeks (and the typical "third week stall") you will actually start burning fat and things will slow down considerably. (My first month's loss was 32lb, with 15lb in each of the next two months, then 10lb per month, and that is a fairly typical progression.)
Give it a couple months before deciding whether you want to slow things down - most will struggle to get all the weight off that they want as things slow down over time. My basic rule of thumb is that if you are approaching your goal weight (say, within 10lb) within the first six months, then look at slowing things down.

My doctor never gave me a goal. I wanted to be at 125 from 240. That's the goal I set.

    I got to 114.

I've now gained some back and am about 125-130 (I think). I quit weighing. Its just a number anyway. I feel great at this weight so that's all I really consider these days.

Can you get to your goal? Of course. But it is just a number. Get to where you feel your best and is maintained easily for you.
