  1. Hey! Welcome to the other side. I'm glad all went well. My surgery got postponed to October so I technically don't belong here anymore but it's good to get news from others either way. Way to go!! And have a safe trip back home.
  2. Hey Bee7... found your post while researching Oxford responses and saw that nobody replied to it yet. I have Oxford too and am going through the approval (or denial, we'll see) process right now. Your BMI with 5'5" and 220 doesn't seem to be high enough unless you have a co-morbidity and pre-diabetics doesn't qualify as far as I know. Best check for you particular plan though. Do you have a surgeon picked already? If you have and if their insurance coordinators are halfway decent they should also be able to give you info.
  3. Good to know! I'm currently awaiting approval through Oxford.
  4. I do... it was submitted and pretty quickly they turned around and questioned certain things and the submission was escalated to a supervisor. My insurance coordinator is doing the follow ups but initial response came back in a couple of days. This was last wed/thu. Right now waiting on escalation to come back, I'll let you know. When did you submit and did you submit directly or did surgeon's ins. coordinator?
  5. Whoohoo.... way to go! i just upgraded from the 19th to the 15th so right behind you!!

  11. Ugh@!!@ All those hoops we jump through. I just got my 6th month visit done so just got bloodwork (2-3 weeks before surgery date), pre-op class and actual op left. I am moving in the right direction at least

Sounds like you have all the right people in your life.... it'd be funny if it weren't so nasty [emoji849] Seriously though... if mil asks you how you're doing so and so many months later, or compliments you on your looks or clothing or something, just say " i took your advice and stopped eating [emoji489] " H 5'6" HW 253, CW 250, TBS 9/19
