GasX strips
Funny, I really didn’t think they work but my surgeon’s office recommended getting them too so maybe I’ll try Amazon if I can’t find them nearby.

I feel so funny.. OP is on Tuesday and I feel like I'm wearing my current clothes for the last time... as if I'm going to come out of the hospital suddenly wearing size 2s.. hahahaha, I guess I'm already living 6 months ahead of today.

what is your ht/wt and clothing size?
5’6” and 250 lbs. I’m a size 18 mostly. Surgery is on tuesday.

I’m borrowing this idea from someone else but I heard “how to walk in high heels” lessons are being offered so I plan to get me some good [emoji151] and make use of that class!

Quick question
Yep, same here. The insurance coordinator would know but if you don’t hear from them call them or your insurance company to follow up.

CRAP! Tomorrow is Pre-Op with the Doc. Questions?
Oh and I had my pre-op yesterday as well. I ended up asking a whole bunch of things but also whether he had ever “lost” any patients. His answer satisfied me. He was very calm and collected about the whole procedure; I mean he even went into detail warning me about the quirks of the hospital so I don’t get upset the day of. All in all very considerate I’d say.

A record of my experience... from start to finish... rants and all!
And yesterday I had my pre-op class. I dragged my husband there because supportive as he is his lack of interest in the details was disconcerting. He was a good sport and sat through it all We went through all the good stuff; you know... prep stuff (what to take, what not to take)... meds, pre-op diet details, pages and pages of explanation for the post-op diet, I got samples.... his NP went through it all with us. Then my surgeon came in and answered any remaining questions. And finally the insurance coordinator came and went over a few things. Overall very informative and reassuring really. All set for tuesday!
