That's not right. Speak up... make your concern heard. My insurance has a coordinator on their end, not like the one in the surgeon's office but more of a pre-op bariatric side program, a nurse coordinator if you will. Have you checked with your insurance company to see of they have something like that? H 5'6" HW 253, CW 245, TBS 9/19

Yes I have. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. The staff was one thing but the surgeon couldn't even bother to look up, never mind take the time to answer questions. The whole experience felt very much like a factory assembly line and didn't instill much confidence.

"If you have plate of food, you are supposed to eat your protein FIRST. First means ALONE not alternating bites with other foods, FIRST. If you have your proper portion of protein 3-4 ounces, and you finish that, THEN eat your veggies/carbs, you will be lucky to get an ounce of those items in. The protein is going to make you full by eating it first. People don't follow these directions, they eat alternating bites."
