Most definitely!! The gas x strips and just walking around helped with the gas pains. I havnt had too much trouble today. I'm having a hard time right now drinking slow sips over a long period. The dr said it should take me 3-4 hours to drink my 8oz Protein shake. Now that I did that my stomach feels full but my mouth is dry. So I want Water but I'm afraid to drink more Water cuz I already feel full.

Yikes. I think you need to stand up for yourself more here! She's being pretty awful and you sound like you're bowing down to her. She's not stating opinions worthy of respect. Those would be "I'm worried about you", "I'm concerned about your reasons for doing this, help me understand", or "I may not like that you're having surgery, but I support you."

Not too bad for a 53 year old G-Ma, who was morbidly obese just 3 months ago. Now I'm just overweight and 20 lbs from being within my ideal weight range. I want to lose about 25 more.

Well, I had my first (and hopefully last) episode of vomiting. I went for a walk and after coming home, I was incredibly thirsty. Without thinking, I gulped many gulps of delicious, cool Water.
TERRIBLE DECISION. Instant regret. Holy guacamole. After about a minute or so of awful pain, I felt nauseous. That water came right back up and out.
Let my mistake be your lesson: do not drink large quantities quickly. Be mindful every time you put something into your mouth.

Was anyone else extremely sore their first day at home? I was fine yesterday and this morning but dying today ! Not sure if it was the car ride or what ?!
