Why did u have to have a psych evaluation??...

I took two weeks off from truck driving which can be quite physical work as well. I had no issues although was a little fatigued by the end of the day. I felt like I could of gone back earlier but everyone's different.

dinner was.... asparagus n broccoli fried in butter n garlic chicken n beef meatballs (2) lunch was - tuna n avocado with spinach n a sprinkle of full fat cheese Breakky was - a scrambled egg with cottage cheese Carbs are very little and only green veggies , milk in tea

I was told I didn't have to remove any polish as it doesn't matter... I did ask as I thought they would freak out if I had nail polish on.. but I'd says every hospital is different

I'm all good with mince except when it's dry ... omg last week I spent an hour with bad pains in my chest. Won't be doing that again for at least another week lol

Yeah I was walking as soon as I got home.. you do what feels comfy for u. Just don't go doing too much

I was a low BMIer of 31 and lost the majority of my weight really fast!!... I am 14 weeks post of and for the last 4 weeks I'm struggling to get the last 5kgs off.. although I don't have a weight I am aiming for I have made one up lol I don't count calories and nor will I ever !!...

I'm not sure as I don't count calories and nor will I ever... honestly don't get into that way of thinking.

I have never had to sip although I thought I had to after reading so many stories of people that said " sip sips sip" lol... I drink pretty much exactly like I did before the op. There's been a few times I have swallowed to much air with it and it's hurt but nothing major

My surgery cost around $26000 in Perth.... very expensive but I wouldn't travel to another country to get it done that would be way outta my comfort zone.. I didn't use my super or insurance either

I was sleeved Dec 5th and have depression symptoms a day after surgery and I have no friggan clue as to why. .. I suffer from apathetic feelings and emotional numbness which are very similar. It's shit but I'm positive it will get better .. hang in there u never know what tomorrow may bring x

Wow it makes a lot of sense. I'm so worried that it won't go away but I'm trying to stay positive. Thank you for getting back to me and I hope you will be ok and all this will pass for both of us [emoji5]

I'm nearly 14 weeks post op and I was hoping to see some improvement but nothing. I eat really well and exercise is going great and my sleep isn't too affected it's just the apathetic feelings. I was fine before my surgery that's what I don't understand. I have read how being under can affect some people and I have never had a general anaesthetic before so I hope this isn't permanent. Thanks guys x

Has anybody felt different after having surgery? You were ok before and immediately after you didn't feel quite right?.. emotional numbness or apathy which is pretty much one of the symptoms of depression!!.. I felt different the day after my surgery and I couldn't put my finger on it at the time. But it felt odd. Not happy but not sad. Impossible to laugh but I know it's funny as where before I would be in histerics. I'm irritable and won't back down. I know it's not due to having the vsg done but more so from the operation regardless of what it was for. It's a horrible feeling that I should be happy my son is having a baby but I can't feel anything. I'm going to America in two weeks but I can't get happy!!.. I can't laugh it just comes out like a breath of air ( if that makes sense?) I have posted about this here before but didn't get much of a response. My Dr isn't sure and nor is my surgeon and all I got was " oh I should pass!" Ummm when???.. surely I can't be the only one that has this feeling. And after the operation Thanks [emoji5]

I have taken over the counter meds but they only go for two weeks. I hate as well I never had problems before and now I do. Eat early or late doesn't make any difference to mine

I wished I had measured before so I could see but I'm sure I measure wrong anyway lol... Every single way of eating for weightloss contradicts another. And then it will change again at some stage lol..
