Unfortunately, I already did it and I'm angry about it and feel so stupid! God has been good to me through it all. He has revealed things to me concerning my health before I had to suffer long term complications. My concerns is that I continue to have a ear to hear Him for the rest of my life. My life depends on it!

I researched for almost 2 years as well. I listen to countless people giving advise and enjoying their new found life. To be honest my choice to do this was never about feeling or looking beautiful. It was about saving my life. I feel like I traded in one situation for another one because I couldn't see clearly the course. However, as I said in my previous post..... All the glory overshadow the people that are hurting, dying, in and out of the hospital, one surgery after another and even divorcing. Now, that I'm on this side I can clearly see I made a drastic mistake. My question is at this point..... why the opposition? At the end of the day.... people are going to do what they choose to do. I choose to reveal the ugly not just the glamorous.

Remember or please note. God made your body to heal itself. It goes into survival mode the instant things start changing. From food intake to surgery. So no God don't hate you on the contrary He loves you more than you could ever know.... and He's right there with you. So keep your smile and know that your body is some what like a navigation system. It will recalculate as soon as it realize it's not in trouble, and the weight will drop off.[emoji1]

Initially you were able to drink very little because your stomach was very swollen. The fact that you can drink and eat more now is an indicator that the swelling is mostly gone. Get acquainted with your new stomach. Continue to monitor what you eat and drink. Your restriction should kick in soon.

I feel you... However, it's about adapting to the change we all made when we chose the weightloss surgery. Our body is not nor will it ever be the same. Learn as much as you can and embrace the choice you've made. Then and only then will you enjoy the journey/course you're on for the rest of your life.

Please get help before the surgery. It would be very dangerous to sabotage especially in your beginning months.

If you can, get legal advice. He may have not known it was expired but he is still liable. Then again him not returning your call could be an indicator that he was aware. He may be hoping that you would just give up and go away. If you had insurance at the time you may want to pull them in too. Before doing anything get legal advise.

It is necessary to continue to change as you go. Change the type of exercise you do. Also take in more vegetables and fruit. Just don't over do it. Change your regimen, and it will wake the body up and make it work to keep up with that change. food for thought.... If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you always got. You want change, then you must change. That can be applied to any area in your life!

I'm sure there are those that love their decision to do the sleeve. However, their are those that don't agree with your views on things. My thing is... if I had known about the good the bad and the sooo ugly... I would have never done it! So you see my response isn't to those who are excited with all the glory like yourself, but those who need to know... all that glitters isn't gold. In fact the glitter is soooo loud it drowns out those that are suffering and dying. I'm blessed not to be amongst those that are suffering, however, a voice still need to be heard, so people will know what they're walking into. I choose to be that voice!

    My regrets.....
Not knowing how things would turn out. To many things can go wrong day of surgery, wks, months, and even years after the surgery. I feel like I jumped on the latest weightloss fad to fill somebody's pocket. When I decided to do the sleeve, my focus was on how to stay healthy after surgery. Of course that search led me to one success story after another. However, as I started struggling with getting my liquids in (after surgery my stomach took over) Protein, Vitamins and Water. I started looking for help on the web because I didn't want to dehydrate, become Vitamin deficient or get a leak. My team advice was "you must do what my stomach was rejecting in order to heal properly. So my search on the web suddenly changed. I needed answers to stay alive! And for the first time I find one horror story after another. Too late not reversible! Now my faith in God has moved to a whole different level. I know He won't fail me..... Been through too many storms in life and He was always there to bring me through. However, if I had of known what I know today I would have directed my faith in another area for weight loss, for truly this is a trying of my faith that worketh patients, for the rest of my life!

When I first read the Initial question I felt everyone commenting concerning what they ate made a conscience decision to eat what they did.
That being said.... no one ever lost control. And that's really what this is all about. Staying in control. For example, some people being very strict..... is the way it must be done to avoid "slippery slopes" then you do you, and save yourself. Yet for others being very strict causes a "slippery slope"so you have to do you. Let us all focus on questions asked and respect each others difference thus avoiding offences.

That's normal.... the inside of you stomach is very swollen so there is very little room for anything to go in. Relax and do the very best you can.
