  1. I have had my band since April of 2009. I have only lost 42 pounds. I feel like such a loser!! No matter what I try I can not get back on track!! December of 2009 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, so most of 2010 I have been focusing on that, I am ALMOST through with everything to do with the breast cancer. So now I need to get back on track and get this weight moving again. Anyone have any ideas what I can do. I seem to be hungry all the time. I saw my dr. and she said I am in the green zone I will not be getting any more fills. So now it is up to me.:puke:
  2. Has anyone hit a plateau and not know what to do? I have lost 35 pounds since my banding in April. But now it seems like nothing I do gets the weight moving again. I am filled to 5.9 in a band that will hold 10. I have 65 more pounds to loose!!! Got any suggestions???
  3. I meant to say, Waiting an hour after eating.
  4. Not drinking during meals and waiting an hour after eating , seems to be one of the hardest things that I am experiencing. Also trying for find different things to drink. I am bored with water and the mix-ins. I really want a soda but I know I can't have that. Any suggestions?
  5. Thank goodness someone asked that question, and answers were posted because I was wondering this myself and I have experienced PB since my last fill. I never know what people were talking about: things getting stuck, or not going down. But believe me I know now what they are talking about. :smile2:
  6. I got my first fill on Monday, I already had 1cc from the surgery and got an additional 3cc which puts me at a total of 4cc. Since my fill, I am finding that food is not going down very well. I get this pain in my throat and chest and then feel very nausea! Am I eating too fast or taking too big of bites? For the last three meals I have thrown up. I am not eating anything bad or tough. Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you, Teresa
  7. Hello All! I am hoping some of can help me with some of the concerns that I am having, and I do realize we are all different and depends on our doctors but any advise will ease my mind. We are going to Disneyworld in 52 days, I had my surgery on April 10th, and will get my first fill on May 4th. What can expect to be able to eat by then? It will be very hard to be at amusement parks and pass up some of the yummy goodies, haha. But I was just wondering how I should handle this. Any advise is appreicated..
