  1. Wow!! You rock! I'm so inspired by your progress. ?
  2. I love those pjs. They're so cute! I hope you make your goal, that's an awesome one to have. Very cute for everyone wearing pajamas for a Christmas brunch too. ?
  3. As for your insurance requirements with weight, I'd call them and ask if you are to lose some weight, lowering your bmi, (if you don't have a co-morbidity), if it causes the chances of unapproval. Most insurances take the very first weigh in weight. So if you were to lose some weight, it should still be approved. That's how mine is.
  4. Oh boy. I would be livid. I hope you get a great outcome from this.
  5. I'll post a photo a year out from now. Lol. I do plan on getting more. ?
  6. I personally think genetics, how much weight you had, age, skin color all plays a role. I don't think there's a one size fits all for not looking old (if it happens to you). Other than that, there's always plastics. Maybe someone else has a remedy that worked for them that'll work for you. ???
  7. I'm on the 15th as well and have the same diet as your doctor prescribed. Started pre-op today! I assume you did too? How did you fare so far?
  8. I believe you will too ? Keep the hope up! Children are blessings (can also wear you out! Lol) but overall, being a GOOD mother is rewarding. Be blessed hon.
  9. Yes. I talked myself out twice. Cancelled surgeon appts twice. Wasn't so I could eat all the wrong foods, I literally thought I could exercise and diet my way out of 100 plus pounds. Maybe if I were single, no kids....yes, the extra responsibilities holds me back. My surgeon even told me that only 2% of people in my age group who actually lose it all on their own, keep it off. Only 2%! Well, I'm not in the 2% and to top it off I need to drastically reduce the chances of cancer, diabetes, etc as I don't have anything now. My mother has all of those now and I don't think she'll last through the next year. ? So, I haven't changed my mind at all during my journey this time around. It's a go!
  10. Bless your heart! I hope nothing but blessings and great things for you hon.
  11. @MBird what a trying time, emotionally, I'm sorry to hear of your dad. I hope/pray that he fares well and you also hon. Blessings to you both.
  12. 1st day of my pre-op diet today and I'm hungry too. About to get another broth/coffee here.
  13. I hate butter on popcorn, always had and opted for it without at movies, etc. Even movie popcorn without butter is horrible. I found a nice substitute because I do like popcorn. It'll have to be a once in a while treat when it's safe enough to eat. Skinny Pop popcorn. But I'm not all about low or no carbs either, so I don't really care too much about carbs, as long as my protein intake is good. I'd probably eat it on my workout days.
  14. Many have found that when they're eating too little, they're stalling their loss. Don't know what you're doing, activity levels, or eating , so it's just a general answer. Best to get with your nut.
  15. 67! Wow. Lol. I'm cold with mine at 75 and I haven't even had surgery yet. I sure hope it doesn't get colder for me. @Paul Bahr I've read many posts of people being cold after surgery as well. Seems to be the "normal " case for a select few.
  16. There's a new product at the BP store, BP's Multivitamins....for 6.99. No reviews on it...seems to have all the vitamins needed, etc. Has anyone seen this or tried these yet? For 6.99, wow...that's a great price! https://store.bariatricpal.com/collections/multivitamins/diet-type_aspartame-free
  17. I like compression/minimizing! Thanks!
  18. These only go up to DDD? Perhaps they kind of stretch for fit an H maybe?
  19. Thank you so much for posting your pics! I'm truly inspired. I would LOVE to be C/D--currently H. So, hopefully in 18 months time I'll be able to go through this as well. My husband told me that he dreamt we were discussing a TT and Breast Lift for me. YAY!!! .....I'd totally go without the implants.
  20. Newme17 replied to Redmaxx's topic in The Lounge
    LOL!!!! That vid.
  21. What kinds of places did you go? Maybe we can chime in to what they may have mushy-wise for you?
  22. That's an awesome deal! 5 for $1....I'd do the same thing. Enjoy your books!
