  1. It is getting real. I'm not on full liquids tomorrow but I am switching my last meal for lunch instead of dinner. Then will be liquids only after that. Safe travels to all of you leaving tomorrow!
  2. I woke up at 5am AGAIN! Argh. Hope everyone is having a great day so far! I've cleaned, put things away in the semi done kitchen I have. Registered my kid in swimming at the schools. Went grocery shopping. Back home now to clean. All with three kids in tow. I've got so much energy, not sure where it came from. My hubby told me last night "don't go wearing yourself out" I'm sure I'll be tired. We're going to the beach later too. It'll be a long day.
  3. Everyone is different. I don't think there's a general guide for it either. So, do your best! The weight will go down.
  4. Problem is...I can't sleep. Stomach is just growling here. I might consider getting a protein water, but that makes me super thirsty. I don't want to get up to use the restroom in the night either. I forgot my pickles at work and I had my limit of carrots I should have gone to the store..... What to do? what to do?
  5. Mine is at bedtime. I used to eat a snack or cereal right before bed. Even now, my stomach is growling. I'm drinking coffee to help. Going to sleep early again.
  6. Man I thought me having to be at the hospital at 7 was early. I'm sure you'll be done and out by the time I roll in. ?
  7. I'm almost to the end, Sunday is my last day. In the beginning, I went to bed early. My diet is a little different but was still hard and tough mentally and physically in the beginning. You can do this. It just gets easier and easier.
  8. Been easier everyday for me. It's actually pretty easy to pass up junk.
  9. I haven't gone grocery shopping. Mainly cause my kids won't eat what I cook and I can't cook for a lack of kitchen (still renovating). I want to cook pretty bad, but it might be another few weeks. For now I use my table to prep what little I could do. All that to say, I am supposed to have veggies with my meat for dinner. I got full real quick off of a few ounces of meat. I couldn't even fathom having veggies too. I was never a big eater to start with (a small children's plate would be my norm), but the quality got me in trouble. Anyone find they're getting fuller much quicker than before?
  10. Aw shucks. That's a pain. I'd sleep as much as possible too.
  11. Well that's interesting...I love them. Especially black beans...never get gassy...so it makes sense! Thanks for sharing.
  12. Does everyone know what time on Monday their surgery is? Mine is at 9am.
  13. I do too. I've gotten used to decaf and have been on the fence about whether going back to caffeine or not.
  14. Sure hope you got your sleep in @Apple1 I'm the opposite, I've been waking up at 5am wide awake this past week or so. Wish I would stop doing that. Surgery isn't even on my mind when I wake up. Ugh. Maybe it's subconsciously, I don't know.
  15. I couldn't find my list. But probably what Sweet said. I would think the hospital or lab would know what to draw for it.
  16. Yay! No more back fat. Mines not disappearing yet. My belly has gotten smaller though. May this point, I don't think the caloric intake really matters as long as we're hitting protein. Even if we're lower than 1000 cal a day, it's just another way to prep ourselves for the months that we'll be lower. My nut hasn't mentioned anything about calories. All I have to focus on is protein intake, eating ONLY WHEN HUNGRY, and water. That's it.
  17. I've thought of switching meals too. Haven't yet, but I'll keep that in mind for the weekend for sure.
  18. So, I had a dream last night. Most of my church family was at my surgery. Someone had asked me for prayer while I was on the operating table. When I started to pray, all the church family started a worship service. The surgeon hadn't started yet and told me to wait. He stepped over and worshipped with them. There was more more detail but too much to write. I'm in great Hands! God is good. Bless His name.
  19. Most of the posts about Genepro sound like this to me.
