  1. Nail Question After RNY: Anyone know what this means?

    I had RNY May 19th and I haven't had any issues with hair loss (yet) my a few of my nails are growing in funny. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know why? See photo, I've NEVER had this happen before.

    Good job! We are Surgery day buddies! My incision glue is still holding on strong too haha, and you are right, there is really no physical hunger. I just find myself thinking, "oh you should eat something" haha I guess that is what everyone meant by "head hunger".

    I had RNY Friday, and I am pretty sore and my belly feels swollen, I have been able to get fluids down, so that is a plus. My question is, the scale hasn't budged at all since I went into the hospital. Does it take a little while for the scale to start moving?

    Thank you so much! It did!! I just got home. I am sore, but I was prepared for the worst, and so far it hasn't been as bad as I was expecting. Whew!

    My surgery is tomorrow, I'll be honest, that is my BIGGEST fear too, (not waking up), I am trying to just stay positive these posts have helped me a bunch! Just think the rest of our lives are waiting just on the other side of Fear. We got this! (If anyone sees this, please say a prayer or two for me tomorrow)[emoji171]
