  1. Great job!!! How about dem Cowboys!? ⭐️(Wish it were blue) ?
  2. If you're losing inches and gaining, it is indeed muscle. Great job! That's the kind of "losing" that changes the physique.
  3. That one fails to input your activity levels. Try this one: http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/
  4. You can still build muscle lifting weights 2-3 times a week. You don't have to go 6 times a week to do that. @James Marusek, I believe (and assuming) he's not at goal yet, thus would like to lose some more fat. He also didn't state he was jogging. Different equations here.
  5. They're absolutely right. There's got to be the right balance for your body with exercise and diet. Exercising too much and eating so little is a recipe for killing your metabolism. Just as exercising very little or not at all and eating way too much is. There a few other recipes that'll do it as well. Do this with trust, your body will thank you. I've seen it all too many times here, people stalling...why? Most are not eating enough. You can only do such a small amount for such a short time. I've also mentioned that unless you are 4'2" and weigh 80 lbs, than a 1200 calorie diet to maintain is what is needed, but most of us are taller and heavier than that. So we need to figure it out. A good place to start is first with your doc/nut, but you can also check out your numbers here: http://eatmore2weighless.com/weight-loss-calculator/
  6. I am rolling!!!!! ????
  7. Do you have insurance? Did you go through insurance for surgery? If so, go to http://www.insurenutrition.com/category_list.php?parent_id=24&cid=28 and see if your insurance will cover the protein shakes. They also have some vitamins you can get as well. I got premier protein and vitamin d with folic acid covered by insurance. Check out this website for bariatric vitamins. Says that most people get all the vitamins they need for $25 or less. https://www.nascobal.com/patient/why-nutrition-direct Hope this helps!!!
  8. VegaOne nutritional shake supplement! It's delicious. 20g a scoop. I don't care for whey (health wise) but I will be using it temporarily since I've got protein premier covered by my insurance. After I'm cleared food wise, definitely back to VegaOne products.
  9. I should add, you should consider upping your carbs on weight train days, at least. You'll burn them off anyway. Your body will need them.
  10. All that working out and so little calories equals stalls and weight gain in the long run. Try to eat a bit more, you'll see it start to move again.
  11. I'm glad you asked that cause I'd like to know too. I've considered buying baby food and adding spices to them. Not sure yet. I'm May 15th as well! ?
  12. Oh lord! Hahahahaha!?
  13. If your stomach is actually growling, then you may not be eating enough to be hungry every 1.5 hours. Or if you're working out, goes back to not eating enough. Could also be that you're just thirsty. Hard to say without details.
  14. Congrats on your ?!!! That's amazing!
  15. Sounds like a plan. I'd go ten under too to bounce. ?
  16. Sounds like normal surgery pre-op directions. That's pretty cool. And if it's working for all of his patients, then I wouldn't see why it couldn't work down the road. BUT, there are some, or many, who might need the longer pre-op diet with liquids and restricted foods. It makes good practice. Congrats on your surgery! Blessings to you.
  17. We all do it seems. Some more than others. I'm pretty positive most of the times, but it creeps in on me. Just shoo it away and keep working on yourself. You can do it. If ya have to, take a poo pill the day before your appointment. ??
  18. Thank you for participating. Looking at pictures really helps a lot of us. Awesome work you've done!
  19. So jealous, I used to do all kinds of hiking. It'll happen again....congratulations! You've achieved so much...especially doing a 5 hours walk.
  20. Great job!!!! I got a kick that both pics are in front of the grill. LOL I love it!!!
  21. Beautiful!!! You remind me so much of my good friend from high school. Congrats on your loss! So beautiful.
  22. A sleeve and wedding!? Soooooo cool! Congrats on both. I'm May 15th as well. Ditto to what @nefellli said.
