Juliafinallylosesit reacted to Phoinixe in Does anyone worry that they still won't lose ?
Talk about stirring the pot! That really does sound judgemental. If you are here because you are going to have or have had weight loss surgery then you really ought to know that weight loss isn't just about willpower or even about calories in/calories out.
As you must know, people undergoing wls have tried typical diets and even medical ones. I'm really surprised that you would be so recklessly and thoughtlessly "curious".

Juliafinallylosesit reacted to Babbs in VGS 11/02/16. Lost 66 lbs, regained 30, need help!

Why be scared? She did a good job losing almost 70 pounds dispite not being completely prepared for the reality of the surgery. She's had a set back. So what? Life is full of them. We have to learn to navigate our new lives around those set backs, and if we can't do it on our own, we get help so we can.
The reality of it is this:
You MUST change your lifestyle or it won't work. Period.
You MUST change your relationship with food or it won't work. Period.
You MUST find the motivation to keep going when life doesn't cooperate, or when we get 'behavior fatigue' or it won't work. Period.
You MUST feel enough self worth to know you DESERVE to be healthy and happy, or it won't work. Period.
The surgery is such a small part of the equation, really.

Juliafinallylosesit reacted to Sai in Genepro Protein?
No need to do that. I mean, you can but you don't have to. The science is sound. Purified Protein is nothing new, and because they add a mixture of enzymes to increase the bio-availablity, it is equivalent to 30g and a great product. Sorry for the nerd talk, but I've been a biochemist and purifying & analyzing Proteins for a very long time. Their competitors have been going on youtube and bodybuilding forums to try to slander them. Apparently people believe them but doctors know, NUTS know, which is why they often suggest GENEPRO. I've been using it from the beginning as my main Protein supplement and my protein labs are perfect every time.
