  2. Never had to take them once I came home. I also had no gas pain whatsoever, so I cant relate to the pain most people had from the gas. The only pain I had just felt like I had done a couple hundred crunches, but not enough to take pain medication for. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I had srugery on a Friday, came home from hospital Sunday, and brought my kids to scool on Monday. As long as you are not taking oaim pills you should be able to drive when you feel up to it. My do had no restictions on driving once i hadnt taken pain medication for 24 hours. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Check Pinterest, just type in healthy crock pot recipes, you'll find tons to go through. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. Check on pintrest for pizza recipes with a cauliflower crust. Pizza was also, is also, lol my favorite food. I am going to find a recipe that will satisfy that craving. Yesterday, my daughter had a chicken, broccoli, garlic, white pizza. I must admit i ate the topoimgs off one slice, it was heaven, but i was also very full. I am only 6 weeks out but cheese, chicken, and broccoli are all allowed on my plan. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. I took off 2 weeks but physicall could have went back in a week. Tried to het into surgeons office early but they were booked. My hr dept needed the surgeons sign off releasing me back to work. I am on light duty for 6 weeks though. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Try not to get yourself all psyched out about pain and gas. I had 0 gas pains, and the physical pain just felt like I did a hundred stomach crunches. I did have some nausea but it was from the pain pump I was on, once they switched me to percocet pills, no more nausea. I was super anxious leading up to surgery, it was over quickly, and now 5 weeks out on to this new journey. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Absolutely beautiful!!!! Know that anything they say can not change how you feel about yourself and you should feel stunning, confident, and accomplished!!! Keep up the great work Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. Well I was sleeved on 3/31 and in the first eight or nine days lost about 13 pounds, then had a stall for about 3 weeks then lost about 3 pounds and am now the same weight for the past week. Going up and down the same pound. 30 lbs is a great loss in the first month!!! Keep up the great work and dont get discouraged by the stalls. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. Congrats!!!!! When I first started I felt like those 6 months would take forever, but they flew by and on 3/31 I was sleeved. Painless recovery, absolutely no gas pain whatsoever. My weightloss has been slower than most, not sure why. Im only down 16 lbs, thats with a 3 week stall [emoji20] I do feel so much better already though and know its the best decision I could have made. Good luck on your journey and keep us posted [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. Upon leaving the hospital after surgery, they cut my doasage in half. One week later I stopped taking them altogether. When I would take them I was ready to pass out because my bp was so low. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. i had surgery 3/31, lost about 13 lbs. in the first eight days them absolutely nothing for the next 2 1/2 weeks, finally a few days ago the stall broke. I am now down another 4 lbs [emoji4] Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

  20. Just wondering how, many stalls you've had along the way? 300 calories seems so low. I am just over 3 weeks out and been in a stall since arpil 8th. A couple days ago I lost one pound thought the stall was broken and it has not moved since then [emoji24][emoji24]. I was getting about 500 calories a day and know thats still low, so am trying to get in more but its hard. At 300 calories a day, seems as if you'd have had some stalls along the way. Have you and how long did they last? Dont know what to do to break it. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. Well my bills seem to be still rolling in, but we are up to $33k and they have paid about $11k of these bills. Thankfully, my co pays all equaled under $500 for my whole surgery. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Im also allowed chicken at week 2, they call it the soft food stage. We dont do puree, but have to chew it to that consistency. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
