Definitely will! Mine happens at random times not just when I'm eating or drinking. It is so annoying!

Shanrom got a reaction from Donedeal in NOVEMBER SLEEVERS! HOW MUCH HAVE YOU LOST SINCE NOVEMBER SLEEVE SURGERY AND HOW DID YOU LOST ALL WEIGHT! Thank you
I started pre-op diet at 283, surgery weight 253 now at 196 for the last 6 weeks!! These stalls are killing me not to mention that I have been pushing what I eat which doesn't help with the stalls at all!!
Need to get back on track, total loss of 87 lbs with 57 lbs since surgery.

Don't look at it as cheating! You had three bites. What would you have had prior to the surgery? This somewhat goes against a lot of what I see posted here, but I think the mentality of 'cheating' or what you can and can't have is what sets people up for failure - one cheat or bad day tailspins into inevitable more setbacks. My doctors office doesn't have my meal plan set up like this at all. In fact, they've said I can eat anything I want, but to eat Protein first, then veggies, then carbs. My surgeon said as long as I follow this plan, I will lose. And because of this, I haven't felt deprived (though I've also had zero cravings for old favorites) nor have I felt like I've cheated. I have had pizza and other foods, some of which was on my plan very early on, much to the surprise of many, like mashed potatoes, but I don't eat nearly the amount I once did. And through this I've found foods that once tasted amazing to me now don't. I'll have a bite or two and wonder what the appeal was.

I went closet shopping and realized I may have liked that stuff 10 yrs ago but I sure don't like it now! Tossed just about everything. I kept a dress and a few pair of pants.
I can't wait to completely replace everything in my closet.
As is, as soon as something gets loose, it goes in the donate bag. I refuse to walk around in baggy clothes that hide my shape anymore.

sounds like a good plan, I feel like i'm obsessed with the scale!! I'm with you i had pant from 16-22 in my closet, I am currently in my 16's for the last week or so.
I'm with you can't wait to shop at "regular" stores!!!

I weigh everyday because it keeps me accountable and I don't get bothered if it doesn't go down. I do like the idea of trying on smaller pants weekly. I bought a pair of jeans 3 years ago and could never fit in them. Way way too small. Anyway I tried them on a couple of weeks ago and much to my surprise, not only did they pull up easily, they zipped and buttoned easily! I wore them out and they were a little baggie when I got home.
Now I try on pants, shirts, rings and bracelets once a week. So much fun!

Shanrom reacted to _bribri1001 in 1 month post op!
I am a few days late but my 1 month post op was on 12/3/16!!
I'm not going to say it went by quick because it didn't. I was one of the unlucky persons who was just going through it the first 2 weeks.
I have officially lost 15lbs which I am really excited about. My confidence is coming back. I still have one more week of soft food and I am still working on getting enough Protein and Water in a day.
I can't say how much I miss being able to gulp!
I work in the ER so my average steps in a day are around 16,000-18,000 ranging from 4-6 miles a day. And that's pretty much 4x a week. So no working out either. I do push ups from time to time though.
I do feel like I am going at a very slow process but I am happy to be at least 15lb down.
I wanted to put up a face to face to help motivate people especially the 1-2day post op sleevers. It gets better. I can't wait to see what I look like at my 2 month Post op! Top is surgery day and bottom is today! STATS:

The 1st 6 weeks are pretty rough both emotionally and physically (I had VGS, gallbladder removal and hernia repair). I want to make sure folks know that, in general, this will be the worst period of time and then your world (and options) will expand again.
That was the worst part for me, those 6 weeks of disabled life, eating, etc. I had a really rough time but then it all blew over like a summer rain cloud.

I thought I knew how hard it would be emotionally but did not appreciate it. I had some tough days feeling sorry for myself but have come out the other side and feel great. Just keep your eye on the prize!
Also I was one of the ones that had a very hard time sipping. It was just so uncomfortable. Though it only lasted 3-4 days it felt like I'd never be able to enjoy a tall glass of Water again but no issues now!

I am in my third week and have the same issue. Today I actually got sick not sure if it was the premier Protein shake which I only took a few drinks or the egg I had this morning. Very frustrated right now and my energy is draining!!

    All
Well I ate a small portion of Penne Pasta with red sauce on Tuesday November 1st and made it through surgery with no issues the following day. I was sent home early the following day and feel pretty good.
the only issue I have and it's not really an issue is that I am still wearing pajamas and dresses since my incisions are pretty sensitive (or at least i think they are). I can't imagine putting jeans on right now! Lol
i am on day 6 and have lost 7 lbs so all is good and not feeling hungry.

Just left my surgeons office and i am down 25 lbs. he only needed me to lose 15 lbs so that is great news, I have been on the pre-op liquid diet for a week now and surgery is scheduled for November 2nd!! Yeah!!!
He said I have done great and said that the night before surgery he wants me to have Pasta with red sauce (just a small amount)! I asked if it was a joke, he said he wants me to have some carb storage before since I will be on Clear liquids for days after. Anyone else had this option? Of course I have to eat before 7pm that night but what a surprise, feeling great and excited!

I don't plan on having much, honestly with how my stomach has shrunk I wont be able to eat that much anyway. I plan on eating whole wheat Pasta and just plain red sauce. I'll let you all know how I feel after, but i think weather I have carbs before or not I will always have an issue with them, that's how I got here in the first place.
