  1. I had a VSG on September 1. My mother-in-law had Christmas brunch this morning. I had a cup of coffee with a small amount of vanilla premier Protein in it on our 20 minute drive to her house. We didn't eat right away so there was at least 30 minutes between drinking coffee and eating. I ate a very small piece of quiche and a slice of ham. The ham was thick but I cut it into small pieces and chewed them (I thought) well. Usually if I eat too much or too fast I am in pain pretty quickly. Today, however, about an hour and a half after eating, I started having excruciating stomach pain that was shooting through to my back and I was nauseated. I "vomited" foam for a while. Now, almost 5 hours later I am still nauseated and in pain. I have rotated a heating pad from my stomach and back. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help? I am miserable. BTW, I had my gallbladder removed 8 years ago. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App

    September Sleevers!

My surgery was 9/1. I am also having trouble with getting more than 500 calories as well. I am getting my protein and fluids in. I have lost 31.6 pounds, which includes 7 pounds from my 2 week preop (which I had to start on my 40th birthday.) I have been pretty tired so I have not started working out yet. I am cleared to eat all foods but can't eat much before I am full. So I am not getting many calories from food. I worry that my weight loss will stop with such a low calorie intake. 4. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I definitely think I need to eat more often, but I am rarely even hungry. I feel like I think about food more now than I did before surgery. I am afraid my husband is getting frustrated with me due to my fatigue since I currently do not work outside the home. It takes all of my energy to get laundry done and put away. He feels I should be doing more at this point since it has been 6 weeks since surgery . He thinks if I worked out I would have more energy but with my minimal calorie intake I just don't feel like even taking a walk. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  5. I am 6 weeks post op from VSG. I am exhausted all the time. I rarely make it through the day without a nap. The nurse practitioner at my surgeon's office says I need to increase my calories to 600-800 calories a day. The problem is I am only able to get 400 calories in and that is on a good day. I just started solids in the last week and I thought that would make it easier. However, I get full so fast that I am not eating much so I am still not getting the calories. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  6. I was sleeved on September 1st and I am super tired. I am still on full liquids. I am getting my 60 grams of Protein and all my liquids, but I barely get in 400 calories a day. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
