heyyyy, The meeting was sweet. I enjoyed watching all these fiesty almost ex-fat gals trying on all these nice clothes. The clothes there was nice but too pricy for me. IM a bargain shopper. I enjoyed watching Suzan Wellborn run around helping all her babies find just the right outfit to try on. She is a joy!

I am doing great. Still waiting for Jan to get a surgery date. Im so ready. Call me at work..... or cell,,,,982-2324. I need to hear you say you have lost another 25 or so.....8-)

wHAT A PRECIOUS GROUP OF FOLKS i HAVE FOUND! I took my upper G.I. films to my surgeon yesterday. He will determine if i can get the lapband done,,,due to the fact that I have had the staple procedure done and also reversed too....back in the 80's. God's hand has been on me this far and I know he will see me the rest of the journey. I want to be healthy and live to see grandbabies....Blessings to you all,,,,FROM ARKANSAS

Well, I tell ya....I have seen some folks that thought they was all that and a bag of chips, and OH MY they sho nuff wuznt. When I went to the Seminar,,,the Docs wife said she has kinda taken her patients under her wing to try and help them learn to dress again. I just think it might be kinda hard to tell what is appropriate,,,considering we ,,,,or me, has had very little experience dressing me in skinny clothes..!...If I do come out looking silly will one of you please speak up???

DOLLS, There is going to be a support meeting at the Little Rock DRESS BARN on Tuesday the 14th. I think this is a neat way to have a meeting. It will be informational as far as,,,,,going from large to smaller clothes, and the assistance we might need in doing this. I am working so hard towards getting my band,,,,,and getting my new insurance,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and starting my NEW LIFE. Hugs to you all! Mary

yes it is your life!. I have had a procedure done by Dr. Wellborn many years ago. He was great and very professional. I went to his seminar as well as one other Dr on the list. One was in the hosp, and one in the private practice office. Both handled very professional... Go to more than one,,,smell the air, let your heart guide you.

I just wanted to tell you how refreshing my first evening at the Christian Thread was. I went to bed feeling good about what I had read. I have to say that the testimonies here are so positive and uplifting. Some nights I have gone to bed thinking,,,,,,,OH ME,,,, am I stirring up a stink for myself? I was a product of the staple procedure back in the 80's. It back fired and i had to have it reversed. I lost too much weight and was right at deaths door. I am bigger than ever again. I pray for guidance and success in the adventure that I am planning. I pray the same blessings on my new friends that I hope to make while visiting here. I am in Arkansas, 52, and looking to be Banded ASAP after the first of the year. I will be changing my insurance company. Later Tators... Mary:smile:

wow you could have written my story for me. I never have felt to sure about anything in my life. I had a door close and another opens,.,,,, I am using a Dr. that Saved my life after another weight loss surgery that failed. I think that the Lord put him back in my path again. At sign up time in November I will be joining my Companys insurance that will pay 15,000 towards my new life. My DH's insurance wont pay at all. It will be 09 when i have my 2nd rebirth.... I have a bundle of relates in Star City.... My aunt Leo West just passed away. I was down for the funeral How was the Luttrell experience? I went to his seminar... but i do believe i will use Wellborn for the surgery,. Just because he and I go way back..to the 80's. Please let me hear about your success. I plan to be banded after the first of the year, this is when i will have the opportunity to change insurances,,,,,and the new one will pay. Praise Jesus!
