Yep. Every time I got into trouble my dad would say that he should've pulled out faster. I would then remind him that I was obviously faster than him.

rolosmom7 got a reaction from Hollyhock in Stop when full, or push on to get required protein in - confused
I don't force myself to eat, even if I haven't gotten enough Protein. I eat high Protein all the time and get at least 60g. It should be more like 80g but I won't eat to the point of discomfort - it's a horrible feeling.
I also have high protein Snacks and will snack often (at least twice a day) Just be careful with it, because you can eat around your sleeve that way. It works for me, but doesn't for a lot of others.

rolosmom7 got a reaction from sunnydeeliteful in Does anyone regret having surgery?
Hi there - I don't know your body or your plan but I'd try going back to puree/mushies. You may just be eating too much too soon. chicken may not be tolerable yet, nor noodles. I'm sure you're sick of broth so try cream of mushroom, broccoli cheddar, and the like. If the chunks bug you, puree them but hopefully they won't at 4 weeks. There are some other recipes like ricotta bake, refried Beans, etc that might be easier on you and prevent the nausea. Best wishes!

I've so completely lost my hunger that I've been back on Clear liquids only for most of this week. Nothing is appealing whatsoever, and I 'm just riding it out to see where it goes.
I guess that makes this Watergate?

BC hasn't regulated my period since surgery. On my period now even though I'm on continuous bcp. I wasn't prepared for the hormone fluctuations post op. Just a heads up!

Not to disrupt the ... ahem... size discussion,
but this came across my Facebook feed this morning and it made me think of this thread. We all need to find the other "penalty plays" and save them so we can just throw a flag in online discussions. LOL

There is a member who is continually calling people a b****. It's honestly not cool at all. I've gotten a lot of help from said "meanies" - personally, I appreciate their knowledge and willingness to share experiences. My opinion - if you don't like a thread or post, just move along.
So in conclusion - thank you to the "meanies" I've learned a lot from you.

Bless your heart. Too funny. I agree, people piss the opportunity away - over things like a freaking mini Halloween candy. Uhhh... ok.

rolosmom7 got a reaction from sleeveisa in Turned down due to borderline personality disorder
I'm bipolar as well - and I've spoken on here with others concerning being able to take mental health meds immediately after surgery. It never came up for me (I did work with my programs therapist) but the surgeon never said anything about it.
There is absolutely no reason for them to deny you - if you're stable which sounds like you're doing great, you'll probably do better than most since you regularly see a therapist!
I hate the mental health stigma. Look for a program that makes you comfortable.

I feel VERY comfortable in my own skin... Even the parts that need to be tucked lol.
I am back to having the confidence in myself I thought was forever lost.
As for the last few pounds? If they don't ever come off, that's ok, too.
8 months ago I could not walk without aid.
Anything better than that was a win in my book.
