P'Nut what kind of grandmother would post a picture of her little grandson ( if that truly was your grandson, or just a pic from the net) with a cigarette in his mouth and a beer can in his hand. That is using a little child that knows no better to play your sick and perverted game. I asked my daughter what she would do if I ever did anything like that with my grandson and her answer was "Mom you wouldn't be able to see him till you got some serious help for your problems. I would not allow you to drag an innocent child through the mud". This is just food for thought, because apparently the thought didn't cross your mind that this was cruel at all. You and some of your supporters need serious help with other than lapbanding issues. That is obvious. To you drinking is a way of life, as it appears to be with most of your friends. That's sad...that band could have gone to someone who deserved it. You got a complete unfill because of your incessent drinking....do you really think your dr. will even take you on again for another fill...I'm doubtful. If any of you relate to the drinking I will be expecting you to jump right in, otherwise you will be silent unless you share the same problem.

I'm rarely hungry since I got the band...psychological perhaps, but I'm not. I'm just sitting here enjoying my diet Dr. Pepper Cherry-Vanilla coke and catching up on the latest crap flying around.

If sneezing and burping can cause the band to slip, as earlier stated, then that one loud belch must have done in your band for good Uh Oh.

As I'm sitting here drinking my diet Dr. Pepper Cherry-Vanilla Coke I'm reading this thread and laughing. If you can tolerate the carbonation and it doesn't give you gas...go for it. The only reason dr's. say don't do it is because of gas. My dr. told me if I had no problems drink it till the cows come out as long as I get my water and protein in....and drink it I do. It has zero calories, and the myth that it stretches out the pouch is like saying a gallon of water is going to stretch out the pouch....think about it

Patti, my friend, the post is sincere and not mean. It is the God's honest truth. Lisa has been stalked on here for some time and she is retaliating....in a big way. I get mine from Bullwrinkle.com and it is just called colon cleanse...the BLOW blows my mind. Hey, I attribute it to having absolutely no gas pains after surgery for what that's worth. Wait, I promised I think I wouldn't touch this subject again....I think I did...I think I did.

I bought Aloe Vera juice before my surgery because The Best Me recommended it. I have to be honest..I haven't taken it. I wasn't sure it you should take it if you were having no problems. I'm going to write to the makers of this Aloe Vera Juice I have (which I also got at Walmart) and tell them you deserve stock in their company

I'm sure Gordon drives "midget" care...LOL. The humidity here is terrible and something I'm not used to being. Being from Idaho where we don't have this kind of humidity it is stiffling to say the least. I really don't know if I could take this humidity all the time to be honest...it truly is horrible.

We tried calling the cell phone and also the home phone and it rang and rang with no answer...my daughter surely was dead to the world....

Peanut Butter is a great source of Protein. I add a tsp. at times to my Carnation Instant Breakfast before I blend it for a change of pace. I can also eat a PB and J sandwich with no difficulty. Just follow your dr's. instructions and you should be fine. I was on solids within 3 weeks, but all dr's. have their own set of rules and regulations. Good luck to you.

I start out with protein in the morning in the form of blended Carnation Instant Breakfast or Isopure. It truly keeps the hunger away for most of the day. In between I drink lots of water and too helps. I havent had a fill yet, getting on on the 19th of Sept., but I convinced myself from the moment I found out I was getting banded that it was going to work...mind games. They have worked for me. I'm rarely hungry, and it takes little to fill me up, perhaps it's psychological I'm not sure. I just know I'm down 22 lbs. since July without a fill, so can't wait to get the first one. Good luck on your journey and make sure you get your protein in.

Not sure what I could do to top this one...but I'm open for suggestions...Oh my poor feet. Worse yet I walked through something and my legs are itching like crazy..Oh No not poison ivy I hope. Please give me something that doesn't involve walking barefoot though.... Yeh, I bet the neighbor is still smiling

My dog doesn't like to have his picture taken before grooming It's a male thing I think, but I will have my daughter take one tonight and download it. She has a huge cat named Elvis who is as gentle as he can be and two brand new kittens that are adorable. I'll try to have my daughter take come pics of them. Kittens are so cute playing together, unless they are raising cane in the middle of the night and knocking stuff over. The male cat has adopted these 2 little females (they were giving them away at Walmart and my daughter is a cat lover) and he gives them baths (whether they want it or not) and picks them up and carries them around just like a mother cat would do. They are all adorable. Did I mention my scardy cat dog is scared of the kittens? What a wimp he is....

I'm done for if sneezing hurts you. The minute I go outdoors I sneeze from the sunlight...have done it all my life. I hope this is little truth to this. I think people are getting carried away with what they think causes band slippage...from burps to sneezes...I don't buy either one.

I spent my pre-op on Carnation Instant Breakfast blended with ice and a little chocolate syrup. It is excellent if you truly like milk products and very filling. I preferred the chocolate by far, but have now switched to Isopure after banding..... Good luck to you.

Because I don't like milk products I opted for Isopure after my banding. It is really sweet so I blend it with ice in my Magic Bullet and it is great. I know I'm getting my Protein and it tastes great. Right out of the bottle it is a little too sweet for me, but blended it is great. I had to order mine on line from The Supplement Store at GNC here doesn't carry it. It was well worth the money. I bought a case of the tropical fruit and the grape...both are good. Hope you find something you truly enjoy.

Why in Tennessee where it rains all the time do people not have garages? Beyond me. Why do people in Idaho have garages and it hardly ever rains...beats me? I have a key pad on my garage at home that lets me into the garage and I never lock the back door, so this couldn't happen at home. This is just a curious question by me. People in Tn buy sheds to store things...I use part of my 2 car garage to store things. I wonder what makes parts of the US so different. Just thinking out loud....
