  2. You'll do great. I understand the panic attacks. I have a 2 week pre-op diet I started last Thursday. 12 more days to go for me. Let us know how you're doing. If you see me panicking on Wednesday the 8th please remind me what I said. Lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  3. I use my Premiere Protien shake as a creamer in my decaf coffee. On my plan I can count decaf coffee as liquid.
  4. I went to my Primary doc. He gave me a referral to bariatrics. I then got a call from them to come to an orientation class. After that I had appointment with Nutritionist, psychologist and the surgeon. I had to track my food for a week. Stay at 1200 calories and share this with Nutritionist. I saw the psychologist and she required that I attend 6 Mindful Eating classes. In Modesto they are offered once every week. The surgeon required that I lose 10#''s. Once I finished all of that I called the bariatrics department and got a date for a physical and blood work. I was only required to get an EKG. I now see the surgeon on the 31st to finalize what type of surgery I'm having (sleeve). I have my surgery on 2/9 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

  10. Try to stay off the scale. I picked up a tip here several months ago that I am going to do. The tip is to remove scale from home for first month. If you're finding that weighing daily is discouraging you don't do it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  11. I start mine tomorrow the 26th. I'm looking forward to be on the loser's bench. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

  13. Hello Everyone, My post- op diet starts Thursday. 800 daily calories no fruit no sugar no starches. High protien low carb. I hadn't read my bariatric folder since September. Last night I reread it. I was shocked to see that for the first 2 weeks I'm only allowed 1 1/2 premier Protein shakes and of course 64 ounces of Water or no calorie drink. I sent my nutritionist an email asking about soups, sf popsicles, sf pudding. Fresno Kaiser does not want us eating any of that Starting 3rd week I move to soft foods. No puree stage. It sure is strange how different bariatric surgery requirements are from surgeon to surgeon. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App
  14. I experienced a rash reaction from surgical tape after having my gallbladder removed. It was about a week after the surgery when it really started to itch. Go see your primary doctor. He/she will be able to help you the best. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

  19. Call your surgeon.
  20. Maybe try asking for a to go container when the waitstaff serves you. That way you could put most of your meal in the container. That might help avoid the attention over not eating
  21. I haven't had my surgery yet. That said. I notice that when I have breakfast within the 1st hour after waking I feel better and I lose weight. Eating breakfast was one of the things my nutritionist wanted me to incorporate into my diet. I now have a Premier Protien shake most days for breakfast. Been doing this since October.
