Have you tried to talk to him about it? To see if he can try to "eat better" with you? I would do that... my hubby has eaten less and tries to eat healthier while I am still on the liquid diet (same surgery date as you) he will have at least one bigger meal but I don't expect him to drink liquids only like me but support me through it and that is what it sounds like you need, is your bf's support.... good luck to you! I am 40, just had VSG done 5 days ago and I have been emotional over the slightest things, my husband doing something for me or even saying something "cute"... just writing it makes me emotional... so yes, I have experienced it and still do.... it has to get better! Please, take one minute at a time... have you called your Dr and explained your pain? Do you have a support system? I did not want anything strong and my Dr and his assistant knew that up front, my husband had a problem with pain meds so I don't want them in the house even.. you should be fine, I am on Day 4 and I am ok, I was told to use tylenol for pain which has been fine.. good luck to you! I can drink the pure Protein, I am up to an ounce every 15 minutes of that or lemon Water (which helps with the bloat).. I just want the soreness to go away so I can move better.. I haven't tried yogurt yet, just applesauce, about a teaspoon to get the Prevacid down.. but it hurts if I drink over an ounce, have you guys experienced that? VSG 7/26/16, Newby to the Losers Bench
