  1. @braydens.momma Congrats on getting sleeved! I am more than happy to add you to the challenge. The challenge only lasts for 2 months and our goal weights are for the end of the challenge is your goal weight to be at 135 in 2 months or would you like to adjust your goal?
  2. My stats are as follows: Starting weight: 301.4 (I have STILL not broken 300 ) Goal weight: 285 I will adjust my goal as necessary! I'm so glad to see so many people posting their weights already! I'm ready for this new challenge!
  3. @saraanne1981 This is where you post your starting weight and your weigh ins each week! You will have 8 more weigh ins, so about 2 months! Is 150 the weight you want to be at in 2 months or just your end goal? Welcome to the challenge by the way!
  4. I'm sure you will! I didn't meet mine either. I am going to do my best!
  5. Also, please do not request access to the spreadsheet. I find it becomes messy when too many people are editing the sheet because of all the formulas.
  6. While looking at this on this app it doesn't look like it has everything you need to post.. Please post your goal weight AND starting weight on April 7th!!
  7. It's not just pain management, it's your incisions. Consult your doctor. You risk opening your incisions if you do too much physical activity too soon. Sex affects the stomach muscles and that affects your incisions.
  8. @Diana_in_Philly You've done great! That's awesome! I started at 540 on 10/31/15. On surgery day 5/29/16 I was 480 and I'm currently 303. My goal is 199. I'm down 69.2% and I'm about 10 months out. I started wearing a size 36 but should have been a 38 but couldn't really find it. I'm now wearing a size 22! Lately I have been going up and down with the same 3 pounds the past 3 weeks or so. It can get frustrating. I have been SOOOO hungry. ugh. ALL DAY! I am having some health things going on though that are contributing (ovarian cysts and stopping birth control). I hope it stops soon! Who did your surgery? I'm in Wilmington, DE and I went to Penn for my surgery.
  9. Hey everyone! I was trying to research it but had trouble finding the answer I'm looking for... What is the expected percentage of weight loss after surgery by month? I am about 10 months out and I was wondering what the normal weight loss percentage was at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 months were. I found many different numbers and was wondering what you all knew? I saw there is an estimated 60% extra body weight loss but is that after how long? Is that in years or months? How much have you all lost? What is your loss percentage = (Starting weight-current weight)/(Starting weight-goal weight)? How far out are you?

  11. I had a great feeling today. I went for a walk with my parents in my neighborhood and I haven't really walked around the neighborhood in a long time. It brought back memories from over a year ago when I couldn't even walk one small flat block. Now I'm walking around multiple blocks and up and down hills. Without getting even a little out of breath. It was a great reminder of where I started and how far I've come.
  12. That's totally fine! It's just going to be listed in the sleeve surgery general page. You are more than welcome to join!
  13. @Torriluv87 haha! Thank you so much! <3 I appreciate it! The new challenge starts April 7th!
  14. @saraanne1981 This post will be on this forum on April 7th. As people add their posts it will stay near the top of the gastric sleeve general forum. Just create a reply with your info and I will add it to the spreadsheet.
  15. Here we go again! This challenge will run from April 7, 2017 through June 2, 2017. This will give us a total of 9 weigh ins. I will do my best to post to the spreadsheet within 1 - 2 day of receiving your weight but I am working three jobs and taking 5 classes so if it takes me a few extra days I am sorry but I WILL have it updated as soon as possible!! Please note that I will recalculate the figures as soon as I can following the Friday weigh in - so your weight percentages may be a little off... I have made these Friday weigh ins because that will allow us to start as soon as possible. You may post your weight at anytime during the week if Friday is not your weigh in day! This challenge is for everyone. If you are pre op, post op, in maintenance or looking for some accountability; this challenge is for you! The rules and link to the spreadsheet are below! Procedures: Please Post Your Starting Weight (Weight on or around April 7th) and your Goal Weight (what you would like to weigh at the end of the challenge) at the start of the challenge on April 7, 2017. You can cut/paste this below and fill it in on your post - Goal Weight: Current Weight: Today's Date: Rules: 1. I will be awarding a prize to 2 lucky participants! The winners will be selected at random an the only thing you need to do to be eligible for the drawing is log your weight each week! 2.Post your weight on this thread every Friday. Specifically 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, and 6/2 3. If you change your screen name please let me know. 4. If you miss 2 or more weigh ins, I will assume you no longer want to participate and your name will be removed from the spreadsheet. 5. If you miss a weigh in on Friday, no problem. Just post it asap. 6. We are all here to support each other, if you post a question anyone can answer. 7. You will know your weight is updated on the spreadsheet once I've liked your post! The link to the spreadsheet is below! Have fun, and good luck with this challenge!!! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sNkBe3U4vgrQ_Pob80A6Mqw3mD6pqGpNSUNN44yeWSQ/edit#gid=217877337

  19. @klette0147 I was thinking "hop into Spring" since I will probably do a summer one after!
  20. I've tried it before surgery. As usual some flavors were better than others. I did not enjoy the chocolate flavor. As listed on the carton it is much better if you let it sit out a few minutes before eating, then it has more of a true ice cream texture!
  21. @Jen-2+1 Thanks for participating in the Challenge!! You've done great!
  22. @RockDaisy Congrats on getting to ONEDERLAND!!! Thank you for joining! I will be running a new challenge soon!
  23. Aww, thank you. I do appreciate it! I am trying to see the bigger picture and that it's a long term thing. I know I shouldn't compare myself, I try not to, sometimes it's hard not to. :-P I do appreciate your kind words and I'm glad to know I was able to help you!
