Question about breast surgery
If I have enough material I will do that. My breasts are completely flat though when not in a bra, they just hang there deflated. [emoji23]

Question about breast surgery
@hardwork&dedication It is nerve wracking to me as well. I have having the extra skin on my stomach removed on June 5th even though I am not at goal yet. It is very large already and giving me issues so insurance is covering it, I will have to pay for my revision when I get to goal out of pocket though. I also will want a thigh lift and as mentions a breast lift. I may or may not want my arms done too. They don't bother me as much as my thighs and breasts. My surgeon said he does not recommend the thigh surgery though and quotes a 90% complication rate.

Question about breast surgery
@Scamp Thank you, yeah I tried to explain how my breast are completely flat when not in a bra and I am only 30 years old and I feel disgusting and that it's my body and I want to feel good about it. She backed off a little but not completely. I was hoping to get some positive feedback I could show her so she could feel better about it.

Not a patient
@optimist92 It's very nice of you to want to help your friend, I'm also glad you did not go to her first with this. As others have said, she is only a few weeks out from surgery. Surgery affects everyone differently. I do not do well after surgery. It is good for her to walk around a bit but she may not feel up to taking long walks. Maybe just suggest you both take a lap around the house every so often, that's all I was up for for several weeks after surgery. I had complications so I was weaker than most though. Being on liquid is never fun either. I also was looking forward to the food I could eat. If she can eat soft food, she can eat pureed. What really helped me what making food I liked but just pureeing it. It tasted good it was just mushy. Foods cooked in a crock pot are best for pureeing.

Question about breast surgery
Hey! So I am not at goal yet but when I get there I really want to get a breast life and augmentation to refill me breasts. My mom is very against it because she knows several people who got augmentations who are in pain all the time. They had it done after cancer though. Has anyone gotten it done and experienced pain nonstop after? I understand it will be painful right after, but this is long term pain she is talking about.

NSV and SV!
I am beyond ecstatic. I am now below 300 pounds! I started at 540 pounds on October 29, 2015 when I started this whole journey. I had surgery on May 29, 2016 at 480 pounds and Now, 10 1/2 months later I weigh 297.8! I have not had a 2 in the front of my weight in FOREVER. I only have 98 pounds to go until I hit my goal! (Which may change, I'm more going for a clothing size goal now more than a number goal ) I used to have to be on oxygen all the time because I was so fat I could not breathe properly. Now I can walk for over an hour with no break and not be out of breath! I am so extremely happy with my progress! I used to HATE getting my picture taken, it was the WORST. Now I love getting in front of the camera, I ASK for pictures to be taken! This is the craziest thing for me. I feel pretty for the first time in a very very long time. I started out at a size 6x (36-38) and now wear a an 18/20 on top and 22 on bottom. I even wear leggings now! I have a large hanging skin on my stomach which I am having removed on June 5th! I will need a revision surgery when I get to goal but I am very excited for the surgery and the relief it will give me. Here are some before and after pics for you guys!

Slowed down :(
You definitely will still lose inches. Try not to only focus on the numbers on the scale, it is not the only way to measure weight loss. I had been playing the same 2-3 pounds for over a month going up and down but during that time I also went down a clothing size! Try to use your measurements and how your clothing fits to also gauge your weight loss.

Any sleevers in college?
@raveena128I work at UD haha! I am also a student at Wilmington University. I would definitely suggest waiting until after finals. You don't know if you will have any complications *knock on wood* It is best to get it done during the summer, that's what I did and I'm thankful I did because I DID have complications.

Weight loss 3 months out
There is no "normal". Everyone loses different. Any loss is a win. 44 pounds is amazing! Be proud of what you have accomplished.
