I had beautiful long hair half way down my back was sleeves on 5/31/2016 I had a massive weight loss in the first month I started in at 5 foot eight 244 pounds. I lost 40 about 45 pounds my first month. I didn't really notice any Hair loss for the first I'd say three months. All the way up until I got to be around Christmas time so I would say in the six-month. My hair started shedding like a duck it was insane it wasn't handfuls but every time I was in the shower I was living here was getting stuck to me it was all over the place. I did start to take Biotin made sure that my Protein was up around that point when my hair was shedding like crazy I hit 155 pounds I was about 85 pounds down. I did not have thining at the crown of my head or anything like that. But what I would notice is just tons and tons of hair every time I brush my hair would just come out and it was gradual but sometime between December in like February it got so bad and my help at witchy Pooh it was terrible. I had to go to the salon and have my hairdresser cut my hair short I've never had shorthair my life. What she did was she layered it and then put it probably like 2 inches above or 3 inches above my shoulders which is very very short for me. You could feel the new hair growing in because I had that like prickly feeling and my hair is growing in now since it does not have much volume. But it's growing in and it looks 100% better than it used to probably gonna take me at least a good year and a half to get my old length of hair back but this is extremely common I would say it was it was almost like every time I had a baby I would my hair with Shedand Shed but it was like that only you know five times worse it's temporary and I'll come back The first picture is about three months into losing weight so I would say that's about they are about August or so 2016 The second one is how short my hair is as it grows back and I'll stop shedding shedding like maybe two months ago definitely cutting your hair helps

I was innocently reading thinking we were talking about eating those pop rock candy thingies, i did not realise till much later that there were other uses for them other than putting them in your mouth!
I obviously have a lot to learn regarding candy lol *blush*

'significant others' will often go for the soft spot when in the midst of an argument, or breaking up...or just wanting to lash out. Just know that if something else about yourself was an issue, he would have gone for that as well. If I was your age, I'd have done plastics as well. I opted not to because the skin sag is not horrible in that it doesn't interfere with my normal activities plus I've had children and I'm nearly 58 years old. Oh..and one more thing. Men my age I have found, are just so happy to be getting 'some' that they couldn't care less about some sags and scars. Besides..they have also passed their 'sell by' date as well.

Gosh I love these!!! So today is my 10 month post op surgiversary. I'm down 142 lbs so far and feel so much better. But these pics make rainbows and glitter shoot from my heart!!! Loving how I'm starting to look. My skin is an issue but it will not take my happiness from me. I've come a hell of a long way and I'm damn proud of myself. Please post all your pics, I love seeing all you beautiful people!!!!!

So I am only just under 5 weeks post op and I am loving life. This is easily the best decision I have ever made. I have lost 45 pounds since my surgery on May 23 and lost around 95 overall. I was just offered an amazing job that I truly believe I never would of gotten if not for the surgery. For any people who are skeptical about getting the surgery just know that I sure was and I am so damn glad that I decided to get it. Well.....after gaining and losing large amounts for weight yet again, i finally hit my peak weight of 356! I couldn't go up a flight of stairs or walk through a parking lot without getting winded.
While i am able to loose weight, every time a go off whatever diet i am on, i ain back the weight, and more. I decided its time to equip myself with the proper tool for sustained weight loss so i am going ahead with the surgery.

Hey guys. I'm turning 40 tomorrow and having the surgery on May 18th. Been back and forth on this decision for over 5 years and finally pullin the trigger.
Would really appreciate a buddy or 2 or 3 to go through this with. Anyone up for supporting a 40 year old male nurse through the process. I'm also willing to help any who need it.

So my surgery might get postponed. Decided to take a pregnancy test and three of them said positive in 30 seconds. I have been trying for 2 years with fertility drugs and that's why I decided to do surgery to loose the weight as my age was making it harder. Haven't told my surgeon until blood work confirms.

They weighed me at the hospital right after surgery on Monday and I was 335 pounds! Now Fri morning I'm 318 I'll take that lol I'm sure once I start the exercising it will come off quicker. I'm 6'3 so my goal weight isn't too far away! I'm glad I made this decision! And you should be to

I was sleeved 5/24 I lost about 14 to 16 pounds 1st week. I think I'm losing about a pound a day now.

I was sleeved 3/26. And My hw was 265 my Sw was 252 now I'm 205! So that's a total of 60 pounds and I am very pleased with the results!!! Some days are harder than others but reading you guys posts are really helping me realize that I am not going through this alone.
