  10. Hi there [emoji846] I'm just sore like doing crunches but if I roll over to either side it is painful. Standing while trying to drink is the best way. Seriously it's nowhere as bad as you think it will be. Three days out here, night one I was too drugged to feel anything and last night was just agitated as I wasn't able to turn over in my sleep. I'm only on paracetamol too. The more you walk the better. It's really not bad. I might just be lucky!
  11. Hi all! Sleeves on the 22nd September so only three days out here. Am a bit tender but am not missing food yet. Only pain I have is soreness around tummy and also reflux - but the nurses here told me that's caused by if I try to drink too much. Other then that swimming along nicely. Best of luck to everyone!
  12. Hi, pulled this off a website regarding minimiser rings. It's fairly new, not all surgeons do it yet my surgeon told me it will be moving this way to prevent regaining weight at the 1 year to 18 months. "The Minimizer Ring will be restrictive only if excessive intake of food occurs, but is not designed to be restrictive ongoing like the gastric band procedure. The Minimizer Ring will also help reduce the incidence of future pouch dilatation.' I didn't want to regain and I know some people who have stretched their sleeve sometime down the track. [emoji4]
  13. Thank you so much for your reply, feel a bit less nervous now. [emoji4]

  16. Hello everyone! This is my first post, brand spanking new here. I'm booked for surgery here in Australia tomorrow, 22nd of Sep. I am leaning towards requesting the minimiser ring around sleeve. Has anyone had any experience with it? Also did anyone else stuff up there pre op diet? Thanks all! [emoji4]
