I take wonton wrappers, lay them over mini muffin pan cups, push them down and fill with a cube of real mozzarella cheese and top with a pepperoni slice, ham or some veggies and bake. Same idea, less carbs.
You can do the same and add taco meat and cheese, or ham, cheese and pineapple, etc.
    Get creative!

Ok. I have to show my stupidity. I though the header said: "Anyone eat humans?"
    Think I need glasses
    Or.....
Is the OP a zombie who recently had WLS and was on an all animal brain pre-op diet?

If so, what do you eat it with? I am 1 month out and able to eat anything now. Just want something easy on the stomach.

spunkyheather got a reaction from The Candidate in Sleeping positions and insomnia
I am 7 days post op. I cannot find a comfortable position to sleep. I have a big body pillow and every time I try to sleep on any side, it gets achy. Any suggestions?
Also, did anyone have insomnia? I wake up several times a night.
Finally, being 7 days post op, I thought my pain would be gone. However, I still have continued dull pain from time to time. Is that normal?

    Ten months out.
Yesterday was a workday as is today.
Breakfast: Premier Protein banana shake + two servings of mozzarella string cheese
Lunch: A serving of chicken salad from our cafeteria
Dinner: Two golfball sized meatballs that I'd grilled on Friday. A couple spoonfuls of marina sauce over them.
Snacks: I don't do Snacks. I don't need them and they only contribute to thinking about food. I'd rather just space out my meals and call it good. I still have a good deal of body fat to burn. Staying low carb is keeping that going. Once I hit my maintenance level.....then I'll start including Snacks if needed (nuts, cheese, fruit and crunchy fresh vegetables ).
Lots of Water (120+ ounces) and 4 cups of coffee throughout the day, too.

"The world according to eggface" has tons of recipes and everything that I've tried from her has been amazing.
I don't care for the ricotta bake now at 7 months out but when I had it during my purée phase it was to die for. Your taste buds change so much over time. Try things that you never liked before and it may surprise you.

I have heard people weigh themselves daily and then weekly. I think I would get discouraged weighing myself daily. I am just wondering what the norm is?

I'm looking for ideas! Can you tell me what your favorite thing to eat Post-Op in weeks 2 ( I seen many people create some creamed goodness) 3 and then when you were able to eat real food! I have seen so many people talk about Ricotta Bakes. If you have a recipe, please share!

You know what I'm going to say, but I'll say it anyway: Call your bariatric team, Friend.
They will know exactly what you can do about leg cramps.
Hurt like hell, don't they? Sorry for your pain.
    There can be several reasons:
    dehydration
    low sodium
    low potassium
    low magnesium
    over exertion
    blah, blah, blah
To ease them? (after you've called your team, of course)
    Hot bath
    light message
    stretching exercising
"relaxing" that individual muscle---not an easy thing to do. This practice is taught in child birthing classes----any experience????
I know how badly leg cramps hurt. Please, take care of yourself. Yourself is the only "yourself" that you have.
Please, post and let us know how you make out. Nosey? yep. Care? sure do!

Hello! I am scheduled to have my sleeve done on 8/31. I was wondering what heath issues you had before surgery that you no longer live with today . (HTN, Fatty Liver Disease, Diabetes, etc) What was the time frame that these diagnosis resolved?
Finally, what is one thing (physically/activities) that you were unable to do before surgery that you can do now?
