  1. Hey George welcome!!!! I too need a fill because I'm finding myself very hungry just a few hours after eating. I'm also eating things I wouldn't have touched 5 months ago. Kat: Several years ago my doctor gave those "little" pearls for my cough....didn't do a thing for me. I too was coughing until I started gaging. I hope the Nyquil works! Feel better. Worked out on my Treadclimber 35 min., too cold out to go to Curves. I don't want my asthma to kick up anymore than it already is. Roberta
  2. Congratulations Julie, you'll soon pass me! Kat: I'm sorry your not feeling well. Boo: Be careful you don't have a relapse. Betty: I hope things work out for your brother; you will be a tremendous help to him with his weight loss. Bluehill: Sounds like a great plan for the new year. Susan: How is your daughter? I haven't heard from you in a while and was wondering how you are doing. Roberta
  3. Schel: Welcome to our group! Dawn: Sounds like you live an exciting life. Everyone seems to be doing super, and the weight is just melting off Boo, Julie, Betty, and Schel. Susan: How is your daughter today? I hope her temp is down and her tummy is better. Got to Curves today. 35 min. Roberta
  4. EVA: So glad to hear your feeling better. We missed you! DAWN: Welcome to our group, sounds like your pretty much on schedule to meet the December challenge. Keep up the good work! Roberta
  5. Kat: How in the world did I miss your post that your aunt died? Sorry for your loss. Glad you got back safely. Roberta
  6. Bluehill: I love your post about the seatbelt extender. Your my kind of gal:D I'd love to see their faces when you return it. It is so good to have you back! Susan: I remember my trip to Italy last year and how uncomfortable the bus seats were for my big old butt. Julie: I hope you enjoyed your play this weekend. 36 mins. exercise tonight. Roberta
  7. I missed the challenge for November by 2 stinking sessions:faint: I am determined to make December's challenge and I have started today!! I did however, lose 5 lbs. for the month!!!:clap2: Roberta
  8. Kat: Thanks for getting that info for us from the other forum you visit. It all makes perfect sense. Roberta
  9. Hi everybody!! I'm feeling much better today! I've started the Dec. challenge. Today I did 44 min. exercise on my Bow flex treadclimber. Phew.... my legs feel like rubber. I've done better with my Water intake also! 71 oz. so far, and the night is not over!!! Roberta
  10. Bluehill: Congratulations on your 90 pound weight loss and 20 days of exercise for November. You are unbelievable!!!! WTG!!!! Loved your post......very insightful. Roberta
  11. Julie, thank you for your support. I read this last night on my way out to a meeting. I never got to reply and when I came come it was late. Needless to say it was too late for me to take advantage of your kind offer. As my asthma improves I look forward to better results in December. Roberta
  12. Worked out for 35 mins. Hi everybody.... I've been down once again with this asthma. It will be another month where I miss the challenge by a hair. Anyway.....I think it is very strange that we are ALL dealing with this increased eating and cravings at the same time. I don't celebrate the holidays but I'm finding myself eating crap I've haven't eaten since before the Band. Betty you are so right, now is the time to re-focus and move forward. Julie: you are doing so well, don't beat yourself up. Your head will get where it needs to be after a few sessions with your trainer. Congratulations on meeting the challenge for November. Congratulations to all who met the November Challenge. Roberta
  13. 35 mins. at Curves this evening.
  14. Dear Bluehill, I cycled back through the thread and found your 11/11 post. You posted this while I was on vacation, however, when I came back I did go back to old posts to see how everyone was doing. I did read your post for that day, but for some reason I did not get the tone of your post. I'm truly sorry that I was not there for you when you needed the support the most. I am glad that you are now feeling strong enough to join us once again. How wonderful that you have had the strength to complete the challenge, all the while battling your depression. You are to be commended, that is awesome. We are "family" here, and like a real family sometimes things go over our heads. Roberta
  15. Welcome back Julie. Glad to hear that you held the line with your weight in spite of all that good food and drink. kat: Congratulations on finishing the Nov. challenge. Sorry to hear about the suicide and attempted suicide in your town. The holidays can be so hard for some people to cope with.... so sad to hear.
  16. Eva, sorry you just haven't been able to get your health under control this month. Hope everyday gets better for you!! Susan: Congratulations for staying in "control" and actually losing during the festivities
  17. 35 mins. on the treadmill. Four more to go! Roberta
  18. Hi Boo, glad your back in the game. Be very careful with that cough, you don't need a relapse. I don't celebrate the holidays, but was very "thankful" to spend a nice quite day at home with my husband. I hope you all enjoyed your day. Roberta

  20. 40 mins. at Curves. Five pounds loss in November.
  21. Went to Curves this morning..35 mins. workout. Kat, I think you have the right attitude. Hope you enjoy your time with the family and all the "goodies" it will include, your Band will do it's job. My weight loss is also very strange....no change on the scale all month..then a few days before the end of the month, BAM!!!! 5 lbs gone! It's been that way for me for the last 4 months.
  22. Hey Boo, we miss you!!! Hope this weekend gets you over the hump and you'll be good as new!!! Roberta
  23. Hey Susan... we've all been there from time to time. I BEG you... keep up exactly what you have been doing. I don't know why but our bodies seem to fight to keep that weight right where it is. In a few weeks you WILL see the difference. And as I always say " the scale is evil and it lies to us" I notice when I'm about to drop some weight I get VERY hungry for the WRONG types of food. If I ride it out I see the weight loss on the scales. If I give in and eat the wrong foods the scale does not move. It's like my body is trying to make me eat so my weight won't change. Hang in there girlfriend!!!! You are also inspiring with your workouts. Roberta
  24. LOL.....Thanks Julie! By the way I just saw your updated running weight loss totals. Man!!!!!!!! Your weight is flying off. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 114 LBS DOWN????? YOU GO GIRL!! Have a great time you deserve it. Roberta
