Crazy how everyone's wait time and program is different... I have Aetna and the time from my initial appointment with the surgeon to the surgery was only 45 days. Gastric Bypass Open Surgery was at 2:30pm yesterday I was out by 4:30pm and fully awake by 6:30 pm. Working on ice chips. Very sleepy and not easy to take deep breaths but otherwise feeling great. My brother is doing well as well. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm July 5th too and the sister Cubano is talking about. I'd be up for an even more private group If anyone is interested... Maybe for July 5th surgeries? I'm thinking of doing it via GroupMe app so we could all just text each other? Especially tomorrow! I'm one of the few that's not really nervous. Just want to get it over with.
