  1. Walgreens and Centrum are the best liquid one's. Walgreens had a buy one get one free. Sent from my LG-H820 using the BariatricPal App @@Bufflehead @beeconceited I'm looking into Wellesse liquid and Centrum liquid. Thank you both!!
  2. Ok July Sleevers, How many of you have had your Chest Xray and Upper GI done yet? Or EKG?
  3. Today I had my chest xray and upper GI done. I need an EKG and blood work. Then I'm ready. Sent from my SM-G530T1 using the BariatricPal App
  4. Looks like you're all set! I wish you the best and a fast recovery!! See you here on BP when you feel like posting.
  5. Welcome to BP Linrey88. I'm having the sleeve and my surgeon hasn't said anything about a drainage tube.. Sorry I couldn't help more. I'm Sure you'll get an answer soon.. Have a wonderful night.
  6. I didn't know Triple Zero existed and I love that it's sweetened with Stevia. Thanks for the suggestion!
  7. It's getting better now but yesterday was the worst headaches I've had in a very long time . I know it's working because it's day four and I've lost 6 pounds What is everyone doing for the painful headaches? Tylenol or Motrin? Can you take meds at this point?
  8. Does anyone have ideas for LIQUID VITAMINS?
  9. JULY 13th as of now... if all pre ops go well
  10. I agree with KristenLe... Jealousy is the motive... she may be trying to lose weight, especially with Summer around the corner... Just saying... I'm sorry your feelings were hurt and it's time you had a very long chat with her. I don't think she'll do that again!
  11. Get some sleep and if you can't ... just lay there and close your eyes... relax with a shower ... book a massage... anything that helps you relax.
  12. I got better advice from my Surgeon and Bariatric NUT than I did in the 5 months I went to see my dietician. She knew absolutely nothing! She was young and had a few years experience but didn't help me lose ANY WEIGHT AT ALL! It was a waste of time but my insurance insisted on it.
  13. @@crfgirl Hey there! My surgery date is July 13th too! I'll add you and we can help each other.
  14. My NUT said Trader Joe's High Potency chewable, and Trader Joe's Calcium/ Magnesium/ Vitamin D.
  15. Prayers for you, but when you ask God for things, like a child asking a Father for a blessing, you have to listen to the answer... where do you get those answers? By reading your Bible! Don't just ask, read his word and get your answers. You will find peace and clarity. Hoping you get the tranquility you need to get through this tough time.
  16. Congratulations!!!!! I can't wait to look good like you next year! Thanks for the inspiration!
  17. Lots of Water within your new ability, Have Protein first when eating. Try your best to exercise within your limitations. Never get discouraged and keep looking forward!
  18. Thank you Alex! I needed to read this and I have confidence in my choice of surgery and surgeon. The one thing you mentioned about counseling is something I'm interested in and hope to get. I need to have a better relationship with food so I won't fall into the same bad habits and patterns of emotional eating. I've started having Protein shakes for Breakfast and I'm starting to work out with a walk, bike ride or dance DVD. It's not a lot of change yet but I'm working on it now, instead of after surgery. Thank you once again!
  19. I hope your surgery date doesn't change but IF it does, don't be discouraged. Just keep listening to your NUT and drink lots of Water to flush your system.
  20. @@jccanada I'm so sorry your hubby is feeling insecure. My hubby was feeling insecure (after marriage) and that's when I started putting on weight and trying to be invisible. We dated for 5 years before marrying but his jealousy didn't occur until we said "I DO". Then the eating habit was making ME FEEL great and I couldn't stop and didn't want to stop pacifying hubby. The only thing that helped our relationship was studying the Bible together and letting that set our boundaries... but 1 scripture I won't forget is... 1 Corinthians 13:4 "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous..." I hope you get what you need to make your relationship work and help hubby to become confident in your love again.
  21. Speak to your NUT. Your team must say what's right for YOU. I'm told to take in 100g of Protein Post Op but to try and get the protein in Now too.
  22. My Nut and Surgeon agree... High Protein, then veggies and fruit... minimal amount, if any, dairy and no processed carbs. Lots of Water... 64oz minimum. 5 small meals a day and about 20 g of protein in each. Exercise, exercise, exercise... even if it's walking more or swimming or cycling. Just move! I'm 2 months in and 18 pounds down. I have 6 more weeks and need to lose more but i'm working on it.
  23. Gina we all care about you and the surgery you're deciding on having... please post soon because you have a whole group here waiting to hear from you and cheering you on... Prayers for you! Big hugs!!
  24. July 13th ... so I'm having upper GI and chest xray on June 6th and preop exam with blood work on June 23rd.
