At my hospital they put the binder on you after surgery and that is how you wake up. I have used it a lot more than I thought I would. I will be 3 weeks post op tomorrow and still throw it on occasionally if my stomach is bothering me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am also st. Vincent Carmel. Dr. Diaz. I did my 6 months of appointment and was approved by my insurance. I have been to two support group meetings and the next one for me is Monday. I had my pre-op testing on 6/23 and was just scheduled this past Friday for surgery on 7/25. Still waiting to get the date to meet with the nutritionist. Very excited about the surgery myself. Good luck on your journey. I know how you feel about fitting on things. I carry my weight from my chest to my gut. We are heading to Holiday World on Tuesday and I want to do things with my two boys (age 6). My surgery is July 25 and I can't wait to do more with them.
