1 Month Anniversary
I have experienced hair loss and it's pretty frightening so the sooner you begin those Vitamins the better off you will be. I purchased that brand but my doctor doesn't allow swallowing capsules so I now take Biotin vitamins and i also use biotin shampoo and conditioner and my hair is coming in nicely and no more hair found on my brush.. I don't think I'm doing this right
U will definitely know when you are full and if u ignore it and keep eating that will turn into chest pain and u will feel very very miserable and won't want to do that again. ...after about 4 or 5 bites I'm full and I'm 8 months post-op Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

Methadone and weight loss surgery
You sould be good to go since its already in liquid form since they normally won't allow you to swallow pills for the first 2 weeks....you will need to report to your surgeon what meds u r on but I think u will be okay. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

Methadone and weight loss surgery
U will be required to stop all pills for first 2 weeks but after that u should be able to go back on your regime...talk to your surgeon and your pain doctor..they should be communicating anyway..I've taken morphine for many yrs for my constant back pain and I continue with them now but my dr required pain patch in place of pill form for the 1st 2 weeks post op Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

Struggling with Solid Food - too much freedom
Bariatric cookbooks are a great tool.....there are great recipes and u will love the new tastes..u will even find that foods u used to eat cannot be tolerated anymore..just remember you had surgery as a weight loss tool not surgery to handle all issues related to wt loss..don't be afraid to ask for professional help if needed.. Disappointed and pissed
I would not pay our if pocket...that is what the inurance is hoping u will do is give up so they don't have to pay for it....the laundry list they require makes only the serious candidates follow thru that's why they do it....but like I said get their requirements and then appeal... Disappointed and pissed
You have the right to APPEAL their denial. I do medical billing and each insurance has strict guidelines and you must follow them exactly..what I would do first is call them and ask them to send you or you should be able to go online (more importantly your Dr's office should know what your specific insurance requires) ask for copy of weight loss surgery guidelines then make sure the insurance has ALL of those records....Sometimes it's a matter of your insurance nor receiving everything. But once you know exactly what they require then Appeal the denial but make sure you have everything exactly or they will deny it again. In the end if it's denied again after everything has been followed then you can seek legal assistance but normally appeal works..... Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

I had that problem to the point where I couldn't even tolerate any of my vitamins....I had all the tests and just inflammation was found and it did eventually pass. I had to go down to eating 1/4 cup of food in small doses until it finally passed...hope that helps Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

Urgent help needed
I personally could not have moved off clear liquids any sooner because I had severe nausea so for me it was perfect but yes it was super long but as I look back now it worked for me. Once you find a reputable doctor he/she will let you know what's best for you. They are all different so following your doctor is best but I recommend you find that doctor asap.. Urgent help needed
Also like Zalina said I had no pain either and was back at work after 3 weeks and that was due to the nausea I suffered with but all of that is gone....this was the best decision I could have made. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
