Hellz yeah!! WTG!! I had Allteland now have Verizon. They're the only carrier that I can get service with here in podunkville. I went to a huge 3-day music festival in Austin. More on that later....I have to pack if I'm coming up to visit you. Whatta ya mean you weren't talking to me?? If you send me some Valium' date=' I'll come see you. Of course I'll be all tripping from the valium, but that makes for a more fun visit. Heehee... Verizon is a friend to those that live in far-flung corners of the Earth... What?!? Your new picture rocks!! Wazzzzzzuuuuuuup? Why have you given up? Don't make me come up there and slap a blind woman!! I'm here. I had to work days all this week. My evil Overlord bosses change my schedule frequently to suit their evil whims. Unless they're reading this......in that case, I love all my bosses. Ok, so I went to AustinCityLimits fest this last weekend. There were dozens of groups spread out over 3 days The Eagles closed Sunday night. It was a blast!! Kinda bad news, though....I found out I can tolerate beer just fine. Ruh-Roh! Anywho, I'll try to post pics, or you can just friend me on FB. Whateva. This weekend I'm going to a kind of multi-year class reunion and will try to pick up every desperate lady that might might have me. (That was a joke) So, I've been busy, but I'm watching you ladies!! And yes, I meant it as creepy as it sounds.

Pregnant much? I'm always a little amazed by the optimism of people that take their boards 3,4,5 times. I mean, do whatever makes ya happy......but, like you Jenn, I like to think I could read the writing on the wall. PS- Don't think I didn't see that pic you tried to sneak by me!!

You. Must. Go. I don't think any chicks, hot or not-so-hot, were checking me out. Part of that is because I wore a weird wig all around the fair. Yeah, there's a story there. Yeah, I'll see about posting some pics. Yeah, I'm a weird dude.

Random post: I went to the Texas state fair this weekend. Let me share something.......there is nothing like going to a state fair to boost your self esteem.

Indeed it was! I work Mon / Tuesdays days and Wed / Thurs nights. Thanks for ruining the fantasy!! J/K Ok, Let me look at the map & check my schedule Yikes. I have a lot of respect for first responders. I worked for many years as the respiratory therapist in a trauma center (I bet I can still intubate), but I don't know if I could treat "on scene". That is....intense. Is the one thing directly related to the first thing? She's pretty. Waaaaay too pretty to be goint to LSU, Heh heh.... That is so cool. I wish I could play the piano. How can I hear your stuff, deb? I agree. People are sad sometimes. Sometimes we go through stuff difficult enough to make us cry. Now, chronic crying / depression is another thing entirely (IMO). I think you're pretty schmart for figuring out the difference. Now don't go and tell anybody I was handing out compliments, or everybody will want one, mmm'k?

Ok. It's all settled then. Everybody start clearing your calenders. You can spout all the propaganda you want, but clearly it's only the presence of a husband that stopped strangers from waving dollar bills around!! I apologize for nothing! Unless my lack of personal hygeine is drifting over the internet, that is. Sorry about that, ladies. Are you, Tracy? Are you?

So excited about my nice new car but the seat belt doesnt quite fit :(
Dang, Moo.....that classic car is schweet!!! When you're rocking a ride like that, who cares about a seatbelt? :smile2:

Those are great Pics!! LSU?? A smart gal like that should be in Austin!! I canNOT recommend exercise enough for emotional therapy. Running got me through my semi-nervous breakdown. Smart lad. I wanna go! Hi there Deb!! Michelle....WTF?!? Do you need me to come down there and kick that Lupus in the ass? Because I will!! Deb, are you trying to tell me I especially need to be good? I mean....that's true, but how did you know?? LOL Kat, I live an hour away from Bossier City (La, right? just making sure), so let me know if yall have time for dinner one night.

Testosterone? A penis? Snappy quips? Oops! guess I scanned a little too fast through there. Sorry man! It.....was a compliment. Yeah, that's it. Aw yeah! The geographical range of landscapes is pretty cool......heavily wooded areas, swamps, mountains (well, tall hills, really), grasslands. We have it all.

See? THAT's why I love you!! FOOTBALL!! Just show your boobs a lot. Dudes love boobs. BOOBS! Sorry....got a little excited there. Ok. I'm fairly tall (between 6'3 and 6'4) and broad. I've always been built strong....even when I was wearing my fat suit. My now ex-wife said I looked like one of those olympic wrestlers (strong, but plenty of pudge). I'm down now to wearing a size 36 waist (which for me is quite the acomplishment. I was a 34 waist in highschool....I'm down about 120 lbs). I say my hair is brown, but my kids say "black". Whatever the choice, it's starting to get flecked with grey. I've been keeping it short (I cut it myself) for the last couple of years or so. My eyes are green (ish). Like Kat, I have a lot of American Indian in me, so I have a freakish lack of body and facial hair, and my skin has a slightly reddish hue. I have multiple tattoos (and plan on getting a large piece soon). My accent is thick, thick country. I sound like a total hick. Indeed. I'm always watching. ALWAYS!! Ok, that was creepy. Wow. How unappealing. Guys hate a large chested woman. Heehee Thanks. It's been pretty good. Hi! Hi Deb. I try to keep up every week, and will post when the LBT spirit moves me.

Fight that monster!! Kat, that's the nicest way I've ever been called a d*ck. You have a way with words, heehee.... I didn't know my ex wife was in tiger country! Ooops. Ya caught me peeping. I will fess up that I try to keep up with everybody in this thread. Shhhhhh....don't tell anybody. That would ruin my reputation as a good-looking bad-boy with a heart of gold. And just FYI, I have the thickest, most hickish southern accent ever. Intellectually, I'm not stupid, but accoustically......I sound like the shirtless dude that gets interviewed on TV because a tornado wrecked his mobile home.

In need of some "guy" advice
Maybe I'm old-school on the whole romance subject (in fact, I know I am), but I would avoid an email. Personally, if I'm going out on a limb like that, I need to have eye contact and be able to read body language......but keep in mind that my marriage crashed and burned in January, so perhaps I'm not the appropriate giver of "love advice". IDK how large your company is, or how feasable it would be, but couldn't you find some excuse to stroll down to where this dude is? Keep it light and just spring it. It's not like you're asking for his hand in marriage, heehee....

9 months banded........not happy
Well, that's what we're here for. Some people tend to"coddle", some tend towards "tough band love", but we all are here to support each other and want success for each other. Hang in there, dragonfly. Never say "die", ya know?

9 months banded........not happy
Ok...how much chicken breast did you have before you started getting the tell-tale signals from your stomach? Perhaps the portion sizes are too big? I agree with UrbanWasteland in that if you are eating small bites, chewing well, eating slowly, and keeping portion sizes small, then you should be able to eat some chicken breast. Maybe you're too tight. Remember, the band isn't supposed to work by physically preventing you from overeating!!

In need of some "guy" advice
What I would do (if the tables were turned) is ask "Would you like to go and do something after work?" Most dudes need direct. And by direct, I mean super-direct, bordering on blunt. It's a scary thing to do, and there is always the risk of rejection......but ya never know if ya never try, right? I'm sure a super-schmart gal like yourself can mentally plot her chances on a risk / reward curve .

9 months banded........not happy
25-30 LBs down is nothing to laugh at! Ok...here's where it starts. You pretty much HAVE to go "by the book". Some lucky few seem to lose without following the band rules, but you're not one of them. I'm not one of them either. I have to follow the rules, or I won't lose. But....I knew going in that the band is designed to be a tool for a lifestyle change, not a quick fix One of the things about being overweight is that most of us have screwed up the satisfaction center in our brains. Most of us have gotten the feeling of "full" mixed up with the feeling of "stuffed". Remember, with the band, the idea is to see just how little you can eat and be sated for 4 hours or so. And, I'm not so pro-band that I would blindly recommed it for everybody. There is a large learning curve, and it takes work. There are rules to be followed. But it can help you if you really want it to. So (said in a loving way) quit griping about how you wish you would have read more negative stuff, and start focusing that energy on making a fresh start. You can totally do this. I know because I did.....and if I can do it, you damn sure can.

In need of some "guy" advice
Heres the thing: Is it possible that he misinterpreted your feelings? If you've worked together before, then he might still think y'all are on "buddy" terms; Hence, the terse answer. If he legitimately thought your offer was work-related, then it's possible that he thought the offer was a just-for-today-one-time-only-right-now thing. Just a thought. In your mind, you thought your intentions were crystal clear, but from a dude's perspective, not really. Cybele is right.....we boys ARE dumb. BUT.....you made the offer during work hours and even said he could invite somebody else. That doesn't scream "I'm interested in you" to me. Good hunting!!
