  1. Tracy, Sorry to hear about your situation. I know from experience it is very stressful to find out you have a leak. The last couple of months my band was always loosing 3 ccs out of my 6 ccs that were put in. On my third fill the PA had a difficult time finding the port and the way it was angled. I just had my port and tubing replaced a week ago and doing great. They found out my tubing had 2 leaks and the port the way it was situated I would have had a problem sooner or later. I was glad to find out my insurance would cover it. I had it done on a friday and was back to work on Monday. Remember to use a heating pad and hold your tummy when you get up at down. Please keep in touch and let me know how it is going. Kathy in Everett
  2. Could be gas pain. Are you taking gas-x? A heating pad does wonders. Kathy

This week so far I have lost 4 pounds. I am just glad to get back to the losing side again. kathy ps....oops time to change my ticker to 248

  6. Hi neighbor! I am in Everett too. I had my surgery with Dr. Landerholm at the puget sounds surgerical center in edmonds. I received my first fill 4 weeks after surgery. Another 2 weeks after. May have a 3rd in a couple of weeks when I have my check up with doctor and NUT. Good Luck, Kathy
  7. It truely gets better. I was banded on Jan 28th of this year. I am now back to my normal self and have been back to work for a couple of weeks. I have more energy and not taking naps on the weekends. The band so far has helped me so much. Just remember to walk at least every hour and sip on your Water....that really made a differece for me. It is so nice to just eat the 3 to 4 ounces of Protein and if I am still hungry I work on the veggies and a piece of fruit. Hope all gets better for you, Kathy in Wa
  8. Try to use Gas-x strips and a heating pad where the pain is. that really helped me out. Also make sure you are up and walking every hour. It will get better. Kathy in Wa
