  1. efan82 I have all of the above too. I feel so much better today. I still have a lot of gas too. I can't take the protein shakes anymore. Did your Doctor say you could have strained cream soups? Mine did. I think I'll try tomato today. I thought I was having some kind of muscle spasms at night. Your right, Its a strange feeling. Get well fast.
  2. I had surgery at 1 pm and got to go home at 8 pm the same day. Everyone is different.
  3. Hi sunshine38. I do not have any chest or throat pains, But I do feel like I was run over by a truck. My stomach hurts awful and I have a lot of gas. It feels like it hurts the most where they put the band. I have to hold my stomach to walk around. I hope it feel better soon. Has anyone else had their stomach hurt like this? I was banded 5/20/08 in the afternoon. Hope everyone gets well.
  4. I'm still making it this evening. I've been drinking water and a little shake. Lots of gas. I'm really sore. I hope I feel better in the morning. I heard the 2nd day is the worst. I've been walking, but if I walk to long it makes me a little sick. Hope you are feeling better YaHerd.
  5. My surgery went well yesterday. The surgery was at 1pm and I went home at 8 pm. I didn't want to stay the night if I didn't have to. I'm very sore today. I'm having all I can do getting up off the chair and walking. I think i'll be sleeping a lot today. I haven't had any trouble with drinking or sickness yet. I hope I don't. Just hope I feel better tomorrow. Have a good day everyone.:wink2:
  6. Hi. Judy: Well, I go in tomorrow for my band surgery. I'm excited and nervous about the whole thing. I know I have to do this for my health, so it makes it a little easier. I have 75 pounds to loss. I have lost weight over and over, but I can not keep it off. At 51 I have health problems from my weight. My legs are sore all the time too. I have a lot of things I would like to do yet and do not want to die young because of food. I get to retire at 55 and would like to travel. I want to be able to walk. Hang in there and good luck
  7. Well, I go in tomorrow for my band surgery. I'm excited and nervous about the whole thing. I know I have to do this for my health, so it makes it a little easier. I well let you all know how it goes when I am up to it. I found everyones experiences very helpful. I kind of know what to expect now. I know everyone is different, but in general its still very good to hear from others. Tomorrow is the first day of my new life.
  8. I have my surgery on the 20th of May. This 2 week pre op diet is very hard for me, but I have not cheated and I will not. With my luck they would cancel my surgery if I did. I try not to be around food. I can't believe how many food commercials are on TV. I even stay away from magazines. There is too many recipes. I know I sound crazy, but I love food. I have to stay away from it or its just torturing myself. I am very determined to change my life style, but its not easy after all these years. I'll do it. I know I can. Good luck to all.
