Hi J! I feel so bad for you with the pedals! I agree with BG that you got some bad advice and unfortunately it has given you reason to fear them. I hope you will find your way to a different pedal that will be simple for you to use. I love mine...but they are easy. I wouldn't use them either unless they were. My shoe got stuck once too (with a different kind of pedal than I'm using now!)...takes some tweaking on short rides before you really let loose! Let me know if and when you may be ready to try again, and I will be happy to hook you with some professional advice and maybe a trial from my LBS friend! ~C P.S. Hi everyone!!!

Hi Jmone, Haven't seen this thread alive in a while. Yes, MALT Lymphoma is relatively rare. It is most often associated with H. pylori although that is not always the case. I did not have H. pylori, but they treated me for it anyway. I also had to go through chemo. I was caught in the very early stages, so I did not have to have radiation. I really hope everything goes very well for you. Better to postpone and be healthy, than to rush anything. I know the wait is hard, it's the worst. I waited a very long time for my band, and now I'm facing losing mine. Not at all cancer related, but I've slipped and it's most likely coming out. Woo Hoo! Go BUCKS! is right! Juli...that is awesome about your surgery! Are you getting panniculectomy or abdominoplasty? Fight for both if you can. That way you get the skin removed, but a pretty result when it's done. Talk to the surgeon about how they expect it to look afterwards. You probably know all this, but just some friendly advice! Hi!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry! I'm on a Christmas committee at work (cuz I'm not busy enough working full time, school full time and taking call!) and got involved preparing the decorations! LOL I realized I'd work past the point of making it to the meeting. How was it? I miss you guys too! According to all the pics and posts, it would seem as though there are some amazing transformations that have taken place in this group. When is the next one? I really want to get to one.
