Congrats! My surgery is scheduled at 8:30 am. I've already started going to the gym. I have to lose 10% off my weight before surgery

Well I got the call from the Drs. office today telling me that my insurance approved me! YEAH!!! So I rushed to the Drs. office and got all the info I needed. My date is set for March 19th. I've been doing the happy dance now and can't stop!

Well I finally had my psych appointment today. I was a little nervous but it was really easy to talk to him. He didn't ask me a bunch of questions like some others on the boards. He asked me if I or any other family members have any psychological issues, if I take meds for depression, and how many different diets I have tried. That was about it. Pretty simple. I'm actually thinking about going back to him to help me with my sport psychology.

Have you tried to wear SPANX? I think they are less restricting then pantyhose. (I don't know about after being banded though.)

Hello! Welcome. I would suggest seeing your GP first and he/she can help you to get a referral. I know next Tuesday in Orange they will be having a seminar to help answer any question you may have about the lap band or gastric bypass. It is held at the St. Joseph Hospital pavillion center at 6pm.

I love sushi and can eat it everyday. I was wondering if I will be able to eat it again after I am banded?

Did you have to wait 2 weeks after your surgury before you could bowl again? I am a bowler and haven't asked my Dr. how long til I can bowl again after surgury. Where do you live? Congrats on your weightloss

Hoping to be a march bandit as well. Ging to classes next tuesday and my signature says the rest. Hopefully insurance will give me a quick approval

I'm in the process of getting the band. My father had gastric. I have been to the orientation seminar and there were some people that talked that had been banded. They all said, to listen and do exactly what the Dr. tells you to do. Best of luck to you on your weightloss journey

I know where that is. My family lives on lemon street. I grew up there and my church is next door to the band center. How has it been for yo since being banded? How long did it take for you to get back to normal activity? Any advice would be great

Is alli similar to Xenical? If so, I did xenical and I was in the bathroom all the time. It was no fun
